Anfengshan Martyrs Cemetery

Anfengshan Martyrs Cemetery is located about 16 kilometers southwest of Donghai County, Jiangsu Province. Construction started in February 1994 and was basically completed in 1998. Climb up the stairs from the east gate entrance and enter the six functional areas of the cemetery in sequence, namely: commemoration area, youth education activity area, ruins area, martyrs' tomb area, recreation area, and worship area; visitors can visit ten scenic spots , that is: columns, carvings, plaques, corridors, halls, pavilions, forests, tombstones, pavilions, and towers, arriving at the Gongji Square. In the cemetery, flowers and herbs surround the 30.472-meter-high Anfengshan Incident Martyrs Memorial Tower, and green pines and cypresses set off the well-proportioned Donghai County Revolutionary History Memorial Hall. A granite pillar is erected on the south side of the gate of the Martyrs Cemetery. The emblem of the Anfeng Mountain Martyrs Cemetery with a diameter of 1.2 meters is inlaid on the pillar. The emblem is of green pine and wreaths, symbolizing the 400 revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the country. The heroes of the martyrs will live on forever.

Yuantong Temple

Anfengshan Yuantong Temple is located at the western foot of Anfeng Mountain in Anfeng Town, southern Donghai County, adjacent to Anfeng Reservoir to the north, with a beautiful environment.
