Zhang Guolao Mountain Scenic Area in Xingtai County

Description of scenic spots: Zhang, also known as Xianweng Mountain, is located 15 kilometers west of Xingtai City, with the main peak at an altitude of 449 meters. It is a national AA-level scenic spot and the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots in Hebei Province. According to the records of the Tang Dynasty ancient tablet on the mountain, this mountain was originally named Wufeng Mountain, where Zhang Guo, a Taoist priest of Guangzong, lived in seclusion and became one of the Eight Immortals. Li Longji, Emperor Taizong, took Laozi as his ancestor, and suppressed Buddhism and Taoism, so he named Zhang Guo as the immortal, changed the five peaks in Xingzhou into the immortal mountain, and built a qixia temple for Zhang Guo. The changed hole is Xianweng Cave. As early as the Ming Dynasty, "Xianweng Ancient Cave" was called one of the eight scenic spots in Xingzhou.
