Guilin institute of tourism was founded in 1985, formerly known as guilin institute of tourism. 1994, renamed Guilin Tourism College; In 20 15, it was renamed as one of the earliest independent full-time public tourism institutions in China. The school has two campuses, Lu 'an and Yanshan, with a total area of 1.25 million square meters (1.885 mu) and more than 9,000 full-time students.
