Collection rules:

According to the regulations of the Hong Kong SAR Government, people who use Octopus to take public transport in Hong Kong (including MTR, franchised buses, green minibuses, ferries and trams) for more than HK$ 400 per month can receive a monthly transportation subsidy of 25%, with a maximum of HK$ 300.

If you spend HK$ 500 on Octopus in that month, you can get HK$ 25 transportation allowance.

How to collect it?

As Octopus holders are anonymous, as long as they hold Octopus and travel more than HK$ 400 yuan by public transport every month, they can receive the subsidy of last month after the date of 16 every month for a period of 3 months.

Subsidies can be received through Octopus app, Octopus service station and subsidy collection station. The collection stations are distributed in 94 subway stations, 5 light rail stations, 22 ferry terminals, 7- 1 1, OK convenience stores and Wellcome supermarkets.

The recipient only needs to take a photo of Octopus on the receiving machine, and the Octopus number, subsidy amount and balance will be displayed!
