Nanchong city's tourist attractions are the first to promote Xishan scenic spot.

Nanchong Xishan, also known as Xishan Scenic Area, is located in the western suburb of Shunqing, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. It is mainly composed of 12 characteristic peaks, such as Qi Le, Huo Feng, Guanbaoshan, Maanshan, Rentou Mountain, Chaqi Mountain and Ruquan Mountain.

Nanchong Xishan is like a green barrier, surrounding the western part of the city, with a commanding height of 480.7 meters. Therefore, Xishan is known as the "Emerald" of the fruit city, and it has also formed a livable environment where "scenery, city and people" blend. After being rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction in 2006, Xishan Scenic Area, which integrates natural ecology, Three Kingdoms culture and red culture, has quickly become a treasure house of beautiful scenery in Nanchong, a paradise for leisure and fitness, a destination for exploring the culture of the Three Kingdoms, and enjoys the reputation of "a scenic spot in the middle of Sichuan". ?

The planned area of Xishan Scenic Area has been expanded from 12. 1 km2 in 2006 to18.8km2.. In order to maintain and protect the landscape pattern of "two mountains and one water", the scenic spot layout of "one core, two belts, three districts and six districts" is planned.

Xishan Mountain is a famous scenic spot in Nanchong, which not only has the beautiful legend of thanking nature for flying, but also has the grand occasion of "visiting Xishan Mountain on March 3" in Nanchong. There are three ancient eight scenic spots in Nanchong. "Golden Spring jathyapple" is said to be Yuan Tiangang's turning golden hairpin into water; "Autumn color of fruit mountain" was once famous for its yellow fruit and autumn locust forest. Although "Qile Lingchi" is located on a mountain, no matter how dry it is, the clear water in this pool is full and will not dry up. People judge the weather by the turbidity of the pool water. Xishan Mountain has concentrated a large number of cultural relics and historic sites since the Han Dynasty, showing the cultural tradition and civilization of Nanchong City. Xue Tao, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty, and Lu You, a great poet in the Song Dynasty, both lived in Nanchong and wrote poems praising the beautiful scenery of the Western Hills.
