3. Introduction to the scenic spot

Wawushan National Forest Park is a national key ecological tourism forest park. Because the whole mountain looks like a tile house, it is named "Wawu Mountain". In ancient times, it was called Jushan, Shushan and Laojunshan. As early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was known as "the second best in Sichuan" together with Mount Emei. Mount Emei is one of the birthplaces of Taoism and the last residence of the Qiang people in the Qing Dynasty.

Ngawawu Mountain is located in the Qingyi River Basin. The main residents during the Qin and Han Dynasties were Qiang people. Because this Qiang people live in the upper reaches of the Qingyi River, people call them Qingyi Jiang Qiang. The Qingyi River originating from Lushan Mountain is also called the Pingqiang River because the Qiang people entered the Han Dynasty. During the Eastern Han Dynasty (126-144), he went to Shu to preach and began Taoist pioneering activities. Zhang Ling was attracted by the colorful Qiang culture. He led his disciples to the Qingyi River Basin to establish Pinggang Education Zone. The Qiang people in Qingyi were soon influenced by the road and became Taoist priests with five buckets of rice to serve the road. This is how the origin of Wushan Taoism in Hongyadong was formed.
