What are the procedures for leaving the country?

You need a passport or other travel documents to leave this country. The processing flow is:

1, the applicant shall, with the resident ID card or household registration book, go to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau to receive the Application Form for China Citizens to Go Abroad and Stay for Private Purposes in duplicate 1 copy;

2. The applicant himself applies to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau;

3. Submit two 2-inch recent straight-edge bareheaded color busts;

4. Submit a copy of the household registration book and resident ID card;

5. If an individual travels abroad, he/she must submit proof of the expenses required for the travel;

6. Copies of all application materials submitted shall be in B5 paper size.

Diplomatic passports are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Official passports are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the people of China, China's embassies and consulates abroad or other overseas institutions entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the foreign affairs departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities with districts entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

How can I renew my passport when it expires?

1, passport renewal should be done within 6 months before the passport expires, and the advance time should not exceed 1 year at most;

2. If the passport expires, it will be handled as a replacement passport;

3. I must personally apply to the embassy or consulate or passport issuing agency for passport renewal, fill in the China passport application form, and submit three recent bareheaded passport photos with my name printed on the back.
