If you work, you can go to Old Town of Lijiang, where you may find a good part-time job in coffee shops, bars and small restaurants. Lijiang has many inns. It is said that working there is full of food and accommodation. The disadvantage is that the working hours of the inn are not as free as bars and coffee shops. Anyway, think for yourself. When you get there, go to the store and ask the boss if he wants someone, and communicate with the boss about your idea of doing a part-time job. Maybe the boss will take you in. Hehe, there are many tourists in Old Town of Lijiang, so you can just speak Mandarin, and there are also many foreigners. It will be better if your spoken English is good, otherwise it may be a problem to work in other parts of Yunnan and not understand Yunnan dialect. You can also play in Lijiang after work, killing two birds with one stone.

If it is a pure tour, Lijiang and Tengchong are the first places to go. If you have time in Dali, you can also go sightseeing.

If you want to save money as much as possible, you can go to the tourist city by bus. There is a shuttle bus from Kunming bus terminal to all places, but the disadvantage is that the journey is too long.

If you stay, it is recommended to stay in a youth hostel, which is cheap and has a good environment.

In fact, you can go to Yunnan first, with tourism as the primary purpose. Just pay attention to your work on the way. If you meet a suitable part-time job, do it. On the contrary, don't worry if you don't encounter it. You don't have to deliberately neglect to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Yunnan in order to find a job. After all, your purpose is to travel, not to find a job. Don't spoil your interest in traveling, it will not pay off.
