What will liver cancer patients experience before they die?
My father has advanced liver cancer. He was in a car accident 20 years ago. He was infected with hepatitis C during blood transfusion, but he didn't know it. He was taken to the hospital with sudden pain in his liver. He persisted for three years without much pain. He can eat and sleep, but he has a bad temper. My dad finally got liver ascites. After pumping ascites, he was thin and depressed. The doctor thinks he can't let us go home. The next night, he ate some porridge and suddenly suffered from stomach bleeding. My father vomited more than 5 Jin of blood and kept shouting cold. I have been using the washbasin. At that time, my brain was blinded. My dad said, Ting, I can't live tonight. With these words, I fell into a coma. My mother didn't come to the hospital until two o'clock in the morning. The doctor injected him with adrenaline to wake him up and see my mother for the last time. He told my mother that their fate was over in this life, and then she began to have severe pain. I always want painkillers. The doctor said that if I take painkillers, my organs will fail and I will never wake up. I don't want to see him in such pain. I finally chose painkillers. I watched my father slowly stop breathing. This process is too painful. It's been a year. I can't forget the way he left and came out of the funeral home. I really can't forget it. I often wonder if he can live a few more months if I don't choose to give him painkillers. ...
My mother died of liver cancer at the age of 33. It turns out that the liver area has always been very painful for two months. I went to a small hospital. It was liver cancer. Father is afraid to go to a big hospital because he is in the late stage of liver cancer. There are acquaintances in the hospital. The doctor told my father directly that there was no cure, and the treatment required both manpower and financial resources. Why don't you go home and eat and drink, but you never told my mother it was cancer. Meanwhile, my mother hit her head against the wall and used her hands. At night, when we fell asleep, we got up and hung our necks. At that time, the old house was hanging from the beam, but the rope was too painful to throw. Woke up in the middle of the night and found that poor mother couldn't stand it for two months. In the end, her mouth was full of blood and she was the boss with a big belly. She's just thin. May her mother die of illness in heaven.
My father is also in the late stage of liver cancer and has been gone for more than two years. I clearly remember that my father called me that day and said that he had a stomachache. Results B-ultrasound saw an eleven-centimeter shadow in the liver area. I was dizzy and dumbfounded. I put down everything in my hand and hurried home at once. My father burst into tears as soon as he saw me. I know how helpless he was at that moment. Next, I had a resection. I am not reconciled. At that time, I was always in a state of mind that could be cured. Our life is just a little better, and my father has not enjoyed it for a few days. I want to take him and his beloved granddaughter to see the great rivers and mountains of the motherland. After the operation, he was brought to my side and was in a good mental state. Seeing him and his granddaughter happily together, I silently begged God to give my father more time. I went back for a check-up every two months after operation, and the results were very good. Almost a year after the operation, recurrence and thrombosis were found. I consulted the director in detail, and he said there was still a chance for surgery. After checking all the physical functions, it is best to remove them by surgery, but can my father withstand two major operations a year? My wife and mother told me not to have surgery, but to take my father on a trip to improve my quality of life. But I'm not reconciled. I also want dad to spend more time with us. The operation went on as scheduled, and the eight-hour operation finally ended. The surgeon said that the situation was good and the operation was successful. We all breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that there would be nothing if the operation was successful. Two days before the operation, my father was in a good state of mind and could drink some porridge and walk a few steps. On the fourth day, my father was a little fidgety and kept getting up and spraying his nose. Obviously, he didn't, but he still had to get up every ten minutes. We went to ask the attending doctor, who reported the situation to the director. The director came over and said nothing. My brother and I have been inseparable from my father since the operation. I don't have a good rest at night and I'm under great pressure, so I'm in a bad mood. My father got up and snored for two days in a row. He just took a nap in the middle of the night and remembered. I also told him loudly that his heart was strange and the doctor said nothing. Every time I think about this scene, I slap myself and want to die. In fact, this is a precursor to liver failure. On the fifth day, my father began to fall asleep. The doctor realized that something was wrong and called several chief doctors. The initial judgment was a precursor to liver failure, and I started rescue treatment. They told me that if this happens, it will be difficult to rescue, and the situation will get worse and worse. Father began to lose consciousness. I hold my father's hand all the time. Put my father's palm on my face, I know my father will leave us, and I can't hold my father with warm hands anymore. I kept calling my father, hoping that he would open his eyes. My father just left, because of my personal interests. Every time I think about this, my heart is tied tightly. If I don't have surgery in the future, he still has at least a few months. The only thing that can alleviate my guilt is that my father left without pain. The late stage of liver cancer is very painful. Perhaps this is the virtue accumulated by my father. My father has been dead for almost three years. Every time I go to my father's grave, I think of my favorite father lying under this cold land. I can't stop crying until I am 60 years old. Hey! I just hope you have a good life in another world! I also advise wanderers to spend more time with their elderly parents when they go home, and don't let their children raise them if they want, so they are close! Now I am also a carrier of hepatitis B virus, and I am taking medicine. I'm afraid I don't want so much, just like my father. Cherish the present and cherish the people in front of you!
My dad died of liver cancer in 64! According to the doctor who has been taking care of him since my mother, it is very painful! The doctor worried that the patient could not stand the great pain of liver cancer before he died and committed suicide by jumping off a building, so he moved my father's bed from the window to the door. However, as a demobilized officer, my dad never complained about bitterness and pain, which made the medical staff who took care of him admire him! It's not that people who have been soldiers are particularly strong, but that my father is particularly strong and patient! The pain of long needle puncture! My dad died at night, and there was no one around! So, we really don't know what he experienced before his death! When my father died, I was over one year old in Zigong, and my father died in the Provincial People's Hospital in Chengdu, Sichuan. Provincial People's Hospital is over at Qingyang Palace! Therefore, I never believe in any religion. But I agree with many things that the founder of Taoism said. As the Tao gives birth to one, two, three, three things! This Tao refers to the way of life. If it is not a way of life, it is impossible to change from quantitative change to qualitative change. No matter how much RMB is accumulated, no machine will create RMB! .
Patients with liver cancer will have many symptoms during their illness, especially in the late stage.
Liver cancer is a cancer in the liver. The most direct impact it brings to people is liver function damage and failure, and the human body will suffer the following pains:
Severe loss of appetite: It may be due to pain caused by cancer, or constipation, tension, depression, gastrointestinal diseases and other reasons. The patient's food is very poor, and he may also burp due to tumor stimulation in the lower stomach and esophagus, lacking in spirit and nutrition.
Severe vomiting: Late patients have more nausea and vomiting, which may be related to the side effects of treatment, or it may be caused by cancer invading digestion and nerves. This symptom is more painful than pain.
Pain in liver area: In the late stage, normal tissues were infiltrated by tumors, resulting in compression and destruction of adjacent nerve roots, ischemic necrosis, obstruction of blood return, and pain of bones and periosteum due to infiltration.
Abdominal distension: due to ascites, the liver can produce albumin. After liver failure, albumin can no longer be produced, and water in the blood enters the abdominal cavity. Most liver cancers are accompanied by cirrhosis, which hinders the blood return in the intestine, increases the pressure in the blood vessels, makes the water in the blood penetrate into the abdominal cavity, and increases the water accumulation.
Symptoms of hepatic coma: coma caused by premature liver cancer, gastrointestinal bleeding, infection, diuretics, electrolyte disorder, etc.
Tumor rupture and bleeding: Severe abdominal pain and hypotension shock will occur, accounting for 10% of the direct mortality of liver cancer patients.
Mother died of liver cancer, and know the process of examination, treatment and critical illness.
A person who is usually in good health feels pain in his chest and back. I went to the general hospital for examination, and the B-ultrasound showed a space occupation. He didn't quite understand it at that time. Later, his mother asked a friend who was a doctor to have a blood test. Her friend said it should be a tumor.
We went to the cancer hospital for a comprehensive examination. The diagnosis is advanced liver cancer, and the doctor told me that I can live for three months to six months at most. I was in tears. I stayed in the doctor's office for ten minutes, trying to calm down, forcing a smile and going out to tell my mother that I suspected it was a tumor. If found early, it can be cured.
My mother taught herself Chinese medicine, read through Compendium of Materia Medica and knew her illness. So she decided on her own, no surgery, conservative treatment!
The so-called treatment starts from three aspects:
1, diet: eating asparagus, dandelion, mushrooms, carrots, tofu, eggs, ribs, drinking red bean and barley porridge, wolfberry water, etc.
2, mentality: every day as the last day, every day must be good. In summer, I moved to a rural bungalow, where I planted vegetables, flowers and birds, and I was busy taking care of them every day. I installed speakers and microphones at home, and I sang every day, trying to forget my illness.
3, drugs: no suitable drugs, often drink some tea cooked by Astragalus and Salvia miltiorrhiza, she checked the Compendium of Materia Medica to find some Chinese medicines with the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, instead of tea, I can't remember clearly.
My mother is so busy every day, waiting for the arrival of death. I think it should be quite painful for a mother who knows that she is dying. She is a dead person who can still breathe, but she just doesn't show it. Every day, she still shows us a smiling and strong mother!
Mother's course of disease is getting worse every day, and she is experiencing pain every day!
First of all, his face is getting ugly, black and yellow, and even his eyes are yellow.
And then I got thinner and thinner. 1.20 kg gradually reduced to more than 80 kg. The eyes are particularly prominent, and the face is covered with bones.
After a few months, the skin began to fester, similar to long boils, and festered together. There is no way. She soaked mugwort leaves in water and rubbed Yunnan Baiyao, but it didn't work.
At this time, the tumor cells have spread all over the body, and the pain is unbearable. It gets worse at night and I can't sleep at all. Often sit until dawn and take a nap during the day. Occasionally use a tablet of Demerol, or take an analgesic, imported, 100 bottles.
I was able to eat at first, which may be the cause of ascites. Later, I ate less and lost my appetite. Drink some nutritious powder and rice paste, and try to make her eat fish, meat and eggs. We believe that tumor diseases consume people's bodies in particular, and that eating more can resist consumption.
In the next year, my mother always felt hot in her heart. She said she wanted to burn her breasts. She has to eat cold things every day, such as ice cream and ice cubes. After eating, she can feel comfortable for a while.
Maybe my mother is strong. She didn't stay in bed and was not in a coma until two o'clock in the morning. She felt sick and vomited a lot of dark blood residue and foam, which was out of control. After being sent to the hospital, the doctor said that the disease would not work until blood was seen. Let her stay in the observation room and let us prepare for the funeral.
Until then, she was still awake, lying in bed, occasionally opening her eyes to see the people around her, but she couldn't speak and didn't have the strength to move. All we can do is cry silently, leave her alone and let her stay in this world for a few more minutes.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, many doctors came to have a look and told us that people had left.
Thanks to her persistence, she lived strong for 22 months after the diagnosis, and the doctor said it was a record.
I never told my mother. I cried in the doctor's office for more than ten minutes, and then I tried to come out and pretend to be relaxed. Fortunately, I found it early. Years later, I will always think of this scene. I wonder if my mother will think I'm so heartless.
When I saw this topic, I really wanted to write about my mother's experience. I hope everyone can be strong and persistent when encountering difficulties. Although my mother didn't overcome the disease in the end, she worked hard to live every day in the last time and created her own miracle!
My father also suffers from liver disease. He left just a few days after New Year's Day in 2009. He should be 60 years old. In the summer of 2009, my father helped me to repair the house. I am alone. On my father's birthday, I bought him a table of vegetables. It was just after the Mid-Autumn Festival. At that time, he was a little thin. He always says that he has a stomachache and doesn't like to eat. My family didn't pay much attention at that time. They all thought it was stomach trouble, so they bought all kinds of stomach medicine, food and infusion, but after more than a month, he didn't get better, because my father was usually. It was useless to take so many drugs this time, so I advised my father to go to the hospital for examination, but my father was stubborn and refused to go at first. Later, I coaxed my father and he finally agreed. At first, I was diagnosed with stomach trouble in a township hospital, and then I went to a big hospital to have a gastroscope. When he came back, his doctor said there was nothing wrong with his stomach, but I said no. I took him to the town hospital for examination and said it was cirrhosis. I was deceived at that time, and my father was also confused. I went to the city hospital for a check-up. When I came back to my house at noon, I cooked a meal. My dad didn't eat it and went back to his house. I finally persuaded him to eat some. The next day we went to the city hospital for examination. It was still cirrhosis and ascites had begun. I was completely cheated, because some people in our village had this disease and died painfully, but how did my father get it after working all his life? I don't believe it, but the test paper is right in front of me. I don't know what to do. I asked the doctor to save my father and let him use the best medicine, so I was hospitalized for observation, but my stomach grew bigger every day and I couldn't do puncture and pumping water every day. My father is getting thinner every day, and he has been used to saving quality inspection all his life. He asked how much it costs every day, and he had to go home for infusion and could not be hospitalized. Finally, the doctor said that he could prescribe some medicine and go home to fight. Later, I stayed in the hospital for a few days and went home. I struggled for more than two months. Father has a big temper every day. He always quarrels with his mother and always finds fault. I advised my mother to let him go, and sometimes she hit her mother with something when she lost her temper. My mother always burst into tears when she said this. I remember that just a few days after New Year's Day, my father would always spit out some liquid of that color, not blood, but black stool. That day, I was with my father. It's like the sky is falling, because my father loves me very much since I was a child. I can't live without my father. I'm too old to live without my father. I see my father at least three or four times a week, but now he says he is dying. What should I do? When my father saw me crying, he advised me that people would leave one day. Why are you crying? I'm going to find my mom and enjoy it. . I cried even harder. That night, my uncle and cousins were there, and I kept holding my father's hand. But that night, my father didn't have any painful expression. First, he looked at me, and then no one looked at the wall. In this way, I stood by my father's bed, never letting go, praying that my father could stay for me, but as time passed, my father swallowed the last one at eleven o'clock in the evening. Daughter loves you forever.
Dr Cui is a doctor in hepatobiliary surgery. He has seen many patients with liver cancer in do or die. The dying pains of patients with liver cancer are varied, because each patient's situation is different. Especially for patients with liver cancer who have been treated in the hospital, the causes of death are different, so the near-death performance is also different.
1. Liver cancer patients died of gastrointestinal bleeding. This is not uncommon in hospitals, but also common at home, because most patients with liver cancer have a history of cirrhosis, and the history of cirrhosis is very long and heavy. After the progression of liver cirrhosis, esophageal and gastric varices are easy to merge. After the varicose blood vessels are destroyed by food or gastric acid, there will be massive bleeding in the digestive tract, and most of the bleeding can be recovered. But some patients may lose their lives because of frequent bleeding or massive bleeding. The patient's massive bleeding is very terrible. Patients will hold the hands of people around them tightly and want to cover their mouths with their hands, which is also terrible for people around them.
2, liver cancer rupture bleeding, which is not the same as gastrointestinal bleeding, many of them were discovered by being rushed to the hospital after suddenly fainting at home and sudden disturbance of consciousness, and this may also be the first symptom. Our department meets such liver cancer patients several times a year, and most of them can save their lives through emergency surgery, but some liver cancer patients can't be sent to the hospital. The rupture and bleeding of liver cancer are mostly caused by the large growth of liver cancer, which is located near the edge of the liver.
3, liver failure, whether or not after formal treatment, liver failure may occur in patients with liver cancer, liver failure can rarely be reversed, especially caused by this malignant tumor, which itself is in an advanced stage, the body's tolerance is poor, and those who have been treated by surgery, chemotherapy, etc. No exception, because these treatments may also lead to the deterioration of liver function, and liver cancer itself will also promote the deterioration of liver function in the process of aggravation and spread.
4, the consumption of liver cancer, malignant tumor is a consumptive disease, and liver cancer is a malignant tumor of digestive organs, there will be poor appetite. Eating difficulties, abdominal distension and vomiting greatly affect the energy intake of the body, and the consumption of malignant tumors is gradually increasing, so cancer patients may be thin and skinny in the late stage, which is called cachexia. This is the most uncomfortable result for patients and their families, and it looks pitiful.
Only part of liver cancer can be treated by surgery in the early stage, and most of them are in the middle and late stage, or have distant metastasis.
I met a 70-year-old woman with liver cancer. She accidentally touched the right liver area, and then the liver area always felt uncomfortable and painful, thinking about the possible causes. Finally, I felt uneasy and went for an examination. If it is liver cancer, this test is not important. Family members and themselves have thought about what kind of treatment to do, so they ask her for advice or surgery. In fact, it is of little significance to have an operation, because the doctor said that she was ill, and of course, her family did not tell her completely. After the operation, she only lived 14 months. Before the operation, her symptoms were loss of appetite, bloating, nausea and frequent nightmares. After the operation, my appetite improved slightly, but I didn't eat much soon, and I was still constipated. Hepatic ascites was pumped once a day at first, and then many times a day, so I finally lost my appetite and was pitifully thin, and finally vomited blood and died.
Therefore, we should develop good living habits at ordinary times and go to bed before 1 1 at night, because the gallbladder meridian is in the season from 1 to 1 and the liver meridian is in the season from 1 to 3/at night. During the golden sleep time, you must sleep deeply. At this time, because the liver is detoxifying. Emotionally, manage your emotions. Huangdi Neijing says that "nothing is indifferent, the true qi is preserved, and the essence is hidden inside, so you will always be protected from illness".
thank you
