At present, five scenic spots have been developed and built, including the ancient city, hot springs, Shoushan, seaside and Chrysanthemum Island, attracting more than 6.5438+0.5 million Chinese and foreign tourists every year.

By the sea,

Xingcheng seaside is a national scenic spot. Much like Seattle in the United States and Qingdao Bay in China. The seashore is 8 kilometers away from the ancient city, and the shore length is 14 kilometers. It consists of four bays: Xingwan Bay, Gangkou Bay, Li Jiawan Bay and Laolongwan Bay. It is the largest natural bathing beach in northern China. The beach is soft and white, glittering and translucent as jade, the depth of seawater is suitable, the water is stable and clear, and the bottom is crystal clear. The coastal terrain is open and the trees are shaded. It is a natural paradise given by the sea to the world.

ancient city

Xingcheng Ancient City was built in Xuande of Ming Dynasty for three years (1428). It is a famous military town outside Shanhaiguan and a typical building of the Acropolis in the military defense system of Ming Dynasty. The whole ancient city is square, with four streets, eight hutongs and fifty-two alleys. It is one of the best preserved ancient cities in Ming Dynasty in China. The circumference of the city wall is 3274 meters, the bottom width is 6.5 meters, the top width is 5 meters, and the height is 10 meters. There are four doors around the city, with towers on the doors and horns in the four corners. East, west, north and south streets in the city cross, and the magnificent Drum Tower stands in the center. You can see the scenery of the ancient city from the roof. Xingcheng city wall is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Chrysanthemum island,

Juhua Island was called Juehua Island in ancient times, commonly known as "Sea Mountain". It is 0/8 nautical mile away from the coast, with an area of 15 square kilometers and a coastline of 26.5 kilometers. It is the largest island in Liaodong Bay. The whole island is long gourd-shaped, with high ends and a depression in the middle. At the southern end of the island, there are two small islands, one is far and the other is near. The far one is called Zhang Shanzi Island, and the near one is called Yanshanzi Island. At the northern end of the island, there is a round island called Mopan Mountain, large and small, accompanied by shadows, like four pearls of different sizes, embedded in the blue waves of the sea. Chrysanthemum Island has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. According to the geological survey, the island was originally connected with the mainland, and a great earthquake in prehistoric times caused the continental shelf to collapse and crack, so it was separated from the mainland to form an island, originally called Taohuapu, also known as Taohuadao.

Shoushan

Shoushan is located 2.5 kilometers southeast of the city, named after its head. The flat land protrudes, with an altitude of more than 300 meters, surrounded by Xiushui; There are also ancient beacon towers, temples and pavilions. Overlooking the viewing pavilion, you can see the scenery inside and outside Shanhaiguan.

hot spring

There is a hot spring 2.5 kilometers southeast of the city. Tang Gaoyou, a poet in the Ming Dynasty, wrote: "Springs are like rotten soup, and the ground has no fuel." It was famous in Liao and Jin Dynasties. Up to now, the water temperature is still 70 degrees Celsius, which contains a variety of chemical elements and can treat dozens of diseases. More than 50 nursing homes have been built.

After visiting Xingcheng's "city, spring, mountain, sea and island", you can rent a car to visit Bijiashan, Qingyan Temple, Huludao and Longhuitou Scenic Spot scenic spots.

I recommend a three-day and four-night tour of Xingcheng:

On the first day, I chartered a car to Bijiashan Scenic Area in the morning to visit Tianqiao, Real View, Lvzu Pavilion, Sun Temple, Sanqing Pavilion and Wanfo Hall. Return to Xing around 3 pm, rest and check in, swim and entertain in Xinghai Bath, and have a seafood barbecue after dinner.

The next day, I visited the Bajiao Liulijing, Tangwang Cave, Dalong Palace in Liao Dynasty, Guanyin in Bohai Sea, Nanhai Bath, Taoyuan on the Sea, Crocodile Going to Sea, Guaishi Forest and other landscapes on Xingcheng Chrysanthemum Island Tourist Area (AAAA level) in the morning, and took a dip in hot springs.

On the third day, I visited the ancient city, including the largest Confucius Temple in Northeast China, the Ming City Wall, a street in the Ming Dynasty, the Zushi Square, the Drum Tower and the Dushi Building. , for shopping.

My sister's family is also from Tianjin. She traveled there for three years in a row and fished live crabs by herself. The natural environment is particularly good!
