Day 1 Hundred Buildings D 1: Shanghai-Hundred Buildings in Nanxun Town-Zhang Shiming's Former Residence-Honglou

Nanxun Town is located in Huzhou, which is very convenient from Shanghai. The night before departure, I looked at the bus tickets to Nanxun Town at night, and found that there were many direct buses in four bus stations in Shanghai. I chose the bus from Shanghai Coach Bus Station to Nanxun Town.

Shanghai coach station is next to Shanghai station, which is very convenient, and the subway 1 line can go directly. Hongqiao also has a bus to Nanxun Town.

After an hour and a half's drive, I arrived at Nanxun bus station.

Come out from Nanxun bus station, cross the bridge and come to the place where you live at night. There are hundreds of buildings in Nanxun Town when you are free. After all, it is convenient to be near the bus stop.

Nanxun Town is one of the six ancient towns in Jiangnan. Although not as famous as Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang, the commercial network is not as good as Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang. Here, more attention is paid to the cultural atmosphere, and the living atmosphere of the aborigines is preserved to the greatest extent. I fell in love with it the moment I stepped into the 100 th floor. Perhaps it is the rainy season, and the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River is vividly reflected here.

Huzhou Teachers College Jiangnan Pillow Water Hostel was built along the river. Strolling among them, I came to the place where I stayed this time, called Ishihara Jiangnan Pillow Water Inn.

The first floor is the living room. Although it is not particularly big, there is a very big coffee table here. If you live here, you can invite friends to have tea here anytime and anywhere to relax and feel the unique slow life here.

The room is on the second floor with all kinds of facilities. When you open the window, you can see the scenery outside, watch the people coming and going outside during the day and enjoy the beautiful night here at night.

Everything here is so antique, as if it had crossed this moment.

Although the place is not particularly large, it is worth mentioning that this bathroom is actually equipped with a fully automatic toilet, which instantly looks tall.

Put down the luggage and we walked along the 100 th floor. Baijianlou

Speaking of the 100 th floor, there is also a story circulating here. According to legend, Baijian Building was built by Dong Fang, a minister of rites in Ming Dynasty, for the servants in the harem. Because there are about 100 buildings on both sides of a river, it is named. At that time, Dong's fifth grandson had married Mao Kun, an essayist and Jiajing Jinshi in Baihualou, Nanxun District, and was ready to get married. However, the Mao family thinks that Dong's house is not spacious. The matchmaker came to Dong's house and said that Mao's granddaughter had a hundred maids, so your family could not live any longer. Dong Jia said, I might as well build one hundred buildings at a time, and each maid lives in one. Because the maid lives in the house, which faces east and west. At this time, the Mao family still thought that Dong Jia was the lowest, and sent a matchmaker to say that there was a pair of tall and big wardrobes in Mao Jia's dowry. I'm afraid the big wall door of your Dong family is too small to get in. Tengku said, it's just as well. I built a tall building with six big wall doors.

Hundreds of buildings, with a history of more than 400 years, were called "Hundred Buildings" when they were first built, which is one of the most intact residential buildings along the Yangtze River in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the south of the Yangtze River. At that time, after dinner, the weather turned red, which was simply beautiful.

Hundreds of buildings stand by the river, and the winding river forms a picture of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. At night, it's quiet here, and occasionally a few people pass by.

Red lanterns are reflected in the water, and the blue sky is unusually quiet at this moment. Only then did I know that the ancient town of Jiangnan was so charming.

Zhang Shiming former residence Zhang Shiming former residence

In Jiangnan, Nanxun Town, this is the focus of the visit. Known as the first house in Jiangnan.

The old house in Zhang Shiming was built by Zhang Shiming, the grandson of Zhang Songxian, one of the "Four Elephants" in Nanxun. The whole house is composed of typical traditional buildings in the south of the Yangtze River and European-style buildings in the French Renaissance, showing the characteristics of combining Chinese and Western styles everywhere.

Exquisite brick carving, wood carving, stone carving and glass carving can be called "four wonders".

After going in, you can savor the essence.

Red House Red House Speaking of good houses in Nanxun Town, people who don't know thought they had arrived in the west. But when I really got here, I was surprised that there were such beautiful buildings at that time.

It was built by Liu Tieqing, the third son of Liu Yong, one of the "four elephants" in Nanxun. It is a classic of the west wind spreading eastward, commonly known as the "Red Mansion", and another classic of the architectural style combining Chinese and Western styles.

The whole building is dominated by traditional Confucian culture, and the mansion is spacious and magnificent, blending into the European Romanesque style. There is still an unforgettable historical tragedy buried under the sea-the first literary prison "Zhuang case" in the early Qing Dynasty.

After taking the photo, I went outside and couldn't help taking a picture when I saw the maple leaf.

The next day, Xiaolianzhuang D2: Nanxun Town-Hangzhou Xiaolianzhuang-Ye Jia Library-Nanxun Town Watertown Wedding-East Street.

Xiaolianzhuang

After entering from the main entrance of Nanxun Town, the first scenic spot is Xiaolianzhuang, a giant private garden in the south of the Yangtze River.

Xiaolianzhuang is the private garden of Liu Yong, the leader of the "Four Elephants" in Nanxun in the late Qing Dynasty. Built in 1885. After 40 years of operation, it was fully built by his grandson Liu Chenggan on 1924.

Located on the side of the partridge stream, with white walls and tiles, Lianchi Quqiao and strange peaks and rocks, people can appreciate the artistic conception of "although it is artificial, it seems natural".

Nanxun is hard to find. I have never understood the meaning of this sentence. It was not until I came here that I roughly understood the connotation.

Xiaolianzhuang has a large area of lotus flowers. But it didn't open when I went. However, from the vast expanse of lotus, I found several lotus seeds in bud, and at this time my heart is looking forward to opening.

The water quality is crystal clear, and you can see the fish in the water swimming freely there.

After going out, you will see a path. The big trees on both sides wrap this place tightly, which is definitely a good place in summer.

The river is a place for drinking tea in summer, but it rained and no one looked at it. If it is sunny, it will be crowded here.

Ye Jia Book Building

One of the four major libraries in the south of the Yangtze River was built by Liu Chenggan, the grandson of Liu Yong, a famous bibliophile and leader of the "Four Elephants" in the late Qing Dynasty.

When I entered the gate, I thought I had entered a private garden, which was extremely luxurious.

It was named after the inscription of Puyi, the last emperor of Qing Dynasty, for the "Golden Jubilee" in Kowloon.

The overall design is a garden-style layout that combines Chinese and western styles. At the peak, there were 60,000 books, about * * *160,000 books, including many secret books and rare books at home and abroad.
