Coverage of Xiantao City

Xiantao covers an area of about 60 square kilometers.

Xiantao City is the central city of Jianghan Plain in Hubei Province, with Hanshui River in the north and Yangtze River in the south. Xiantao, with its beautiful scenery and outstanding people, has been ranked first among counties and cities in Hubei Province for a long time since 199 1, and is known as the "Pearl of Jianghan".

Xiantao, formerly known as mian yang, is a national garden city, a national health city, a central city in the west wing of Wuhan city circle, a hometown of Asian gymnastics, a national pilot city of new urbanization and a national pilot city of smart city.

Xiantao is adjacent to Wuhan, 82km away from the center of Wuhan (60km away from Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone), and only 1 hour drive from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, Hankou Railway Station and Wuhan Port of the Yangtze River. Rivers and canals are connected in the territory, National Highway 3 18 and Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway run through the east and west, and Xiaoxianjia Expressway in the outer ring of Wuhan metropolitan area under construction runs through the north and south. The Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway meet near Xiantao, and the megacities such as Guangzhou in the south, Beijing in the north, Shanghai in the east and Chengdu in the west are all within the radius of 1000 km.

Administrative Division Xiantao City is a sub-prefecture-level city directly under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province. Hubei Province has some prefecture-level administrative units in Xiantao City: Hanjiang Branch of Hubei Provincial People's Procuratorate (jurisdiction: Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang and Jianghan Oilfield)? Hanjiang Intermediate People's Court of Hubei Province (jurisdiction: Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang and Jianghan Oilfield)? Hubei Hanjiang Public Security Fire Brigade (jurisdiction: Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang, Shennongjia and Jianghan Oilfield) Hubei Provincial Public Security Department Hanjiang Technical Investigation Detachment (jurisdiction: Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang and Jianghan Oilfield) Xiantao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (jurisdiction: Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang and Honghu).

Xiantao City now governs Zhengchang Town, Maozui Town, Mianhe Town, Sanfutan Town, Huchang Town, Xiliuhe Town, pengchang Town, Husha Town, Yanglinwei Town, Zhanggou Town, Guohe Town, Tonghaikou Town, Chen Chang Town, Changcuokou Town and Mianchenghui Town. Three sub-district offices: Ganhe, Longhua Mountain and Shazui; State-owned Hu Sha, Jiuhehuan two seed farms, Paihu and Wuhu two fishing grounds; State-owned Zhao Xihuan and Liu Jiahuan two forest farms; Xiantao Economic Development Zone, Xiantao Industrial Park, Liukou Industrial Park, Xiantao High-tech Industrial Park, Xiantao Fine Chemical Industry Park, Pengchang Industrial Park and Xiantao National Agricultural Science and Technology Park.

In 20 12 years, the total registered population of Xiantao city was1535,000. According to the sixth national census, the permanent population of Xiantao is1176,000. Among them, the urban population is 460,000, and the urban area is about 60 square kilometers.
