Where is Hejiang?

Hejiang county is located in the southern edge of Sichuan, at the junction of Sichuan, Guizhou and Chongqing provinces, and is the first port county of the Yangtze River in Sichuan Province. The county covers an area of 24,265,438+0.9 square kilometers and has a population of 840,000. It is also known as Danli and Litchi, and it is a famous specialty fruit in China. Because of its bright red skin, sweet and delicious pulp, rich nutrition and wide medicinal use, it is known as the "king of fruits" and "queen of fruits". Hejiang is a sub-humid climate zone with high temperature, abundant sunshine and rainfall, four distinct seasons and a long frost-free period. The Yangtze River, Chishui River and 104 River run through the county, and there are more than 600,000 mu of contiguous mixed natural forests in the south, creating a climate environment suitable for litchi growth. Under the hot conditions in the Yangtze River basin, this is the most ideal place to grow litchi. Therefore, Hejiang litchi has been cultivated for more than 1000 years. Litchi introduced from Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Yunnan has been cultivated and propagated for a long time in Hejiang, and then scientifically improved and selected. Hejiang litchi has a unique style with thin skin, small pit, crisp meat, crystal clear color, tender residue, moderate sweet and sour taste and fragrant smell. It was listed in early July and sold in mid-August, more than a month later than Lingnan litchi. Therefore, Hejiang litchi has a high market efficiency and a good reputation, and has been selling well at home and abroad for many years. On July 28th, 1975, Zhongnanhai security forces, accompanied by the logistics department of Chengdu Military Region, took a special bus to the earth dam of No.8 Team of Lianhuachi of Hejiangqiao Commune, bought lychees and returned to Beijing to entertain foreign heads of state and gave them to Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou for tasting. Because Hejiang litchi is unique. 1988, the State Planning Commission identified Hejiang as the national late-maturing litchi base, and the Ministry of Agriculture incorporated Hejiang litchi into the fruit development zone in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The investment has reached 35 million yuan, and a high-standard demonstration park has been built 1 10,000 mu. At present, Hejiang litchi has more than ten varieties such as Dahongpao, Nanmu Leaf, Feizixiao, Shannan, Lv Dai, Guiwei, glutinous rice paste, antlers, Toti, Wupao, Liangjiang robe and Fanbapao. The top five varieties have been rated as high-quality fruits in Sichuan Province. Hejiang qingguo

Hejiang olive pulp is sweet and can be eaten fresh, processed into preserved fruit, and used as medicine to prevent and treat many human and animal diseases, which has high economic value. Therefore, in recent decades, Hejiang green fruit has been the main fruit variety of Hejiang farmers, and farmers in Guizhou, Chongqing and Yunnan have introduced it. There are no systematic written records on the adaptability, cultivation methods and processing methods of different varieties, and no one has conducted a comprehensive study. Wen Jian, a senior agronomist, took the initiative to undertake this scientific research topic after the horn of the western development sounded. On the basis of summing up his experience in studying green fruits for more than 30 years, he spent 10 in Hejiang from 1 0 in 1999, observed tens of thousands of green fruits on the spot, interviewed thousands of fruit farmers and agricultural technicians, collected nearly one million words of information, and finally got many problems in planting green fruits in Hejiang. At present, Wen Jian has sorted out the color images, cultivation methods, high-yield techniques and processing techniques of 30 high-quality varieties of Hejiang Olive, such as Dabaiyuan, Erbaiyuan, Dabao and Bauer, and compiled the book Hejiang Olive, with an increase of 6.5438 million words. This book was quickly fully affirmed by peers and warmly welcomed by fruit farmers inside and outside Hejiang County. It is reported that this is the first book in Sichuan province that comprehensively and systematically introduces the history, present situation, taste, efficacy, cultivation and processing technology of olives, filling a blank in Sichuan fruit monograph.
