After climbing Mount Huangshan, I felt it was slightly inferior to Mount Huashan, which was more exciting. Which mountain is more interesting than Huashan?
Of course it’s Taibai Mountain!
Both Taibai Mountain and Huashan Mountain are in the Qinling Mountains. Taibai Mountain is 3771 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the Qinling Mountains.
It should be exciting to have no guardrails on the top of the mountain!
Since ancient times, Taibai Mountain has been famous for its high, cold, dangerous, strange, rich and mysterious characteristics.
It is a bit cold at the top of the mountain at an altitude of 3,600 meters. After all, for every 1,000 meters of elevation, the temperature drops by about 6 degrees Celsius.
Even in summer, it may snow on the top of the mountain: for example, on May 6, 2019, it snowed heavily in Taibai Mountain, with a snow thickness of 15CM and a temperature of minus 1°C.
Actual pictures taken in June 2017:
I think: everyone leads the way, there is no superiority.
The ancients called the Three Mountains and Five Mountains. Generally speaking, the three mountains refer to: Huangshan Mountain, Lushan Mountain and Yandang Mountain. The Five Mountains refer to Mount Tai, Mount Huashan, Mount Heng, Mount Song, and Mount Heng.
Three Mountains and Five Mountains cover eight provinces, among which Huangshan, Lushan, Taishan and Songshan have been listed as world heritage sites.
I have visited these familiar "three mountains and five mountains" one by one in the past forty years. Among them, Huangshan and Lushan have been climbed twice.
Huangshan Mountain is known as “the most amazing mountain in the world”. Xu Xiake visited Huangshan twice and left behind the sigh that "when you return from the Five Mountains, you don't see the mountains; when you return from Huangshan, you don't see the mountains."
Each of the five mountains has its own characteristics: Mount Tai in the east is majestic, Mount Huashan in the west is dangerous, Mount Heng in the south is beautiful, Mount Heng in the north is amazing, and Mount Song in the middle is steep. Huashan is famous for its dangers.
According to the research of Mr. Zhang Taiyan, a famous modern scholar, both "Huaxia" and "Zhonghua" got their names from Mount Hua. "Huashan Mountain has been a road since ancient times", and its steepness ranks first among the five mountains.
So I say: Everyone takes the lead. There is no superiority or inferiority.
I am from Zhengzhou. I climbed Mount Tai and Huashan last year. I feel that Mount Huashan is much better than Mount Tai. Mount Huashan is very dangerous. There are many places where you have to use both hands and feet, and there are many cultural landscapes. Mount Tai is just a straight road, with cultural landscapes on both sides of the road, and the natural landscape is basically average
My opinion:
If I were asked to rank, I think the ranking of several famous mountains in China is : Huangshan, Zhangjiajie, Huashan, Taishan.
In addition, I have been to more than 30 countries, and I feel that no country has better mountain scenery than Huangshan.
Of course, these are personal subjective feelings and there is no objective measurement standard. What kind of scenery you like has a lot to do with a person's innate temperament, cultural background, and even gender. It also depends on the weather conditions and the number of tourists when they visit.
As a Chinese, I think everyone must go to Huangshan to see the indescribable and miraculous craftsmanship of nature.
I have been to Huashan and Huangshan twice. I personally think that Huangshan is much more beautiful than Huashan, so it is not on the same level.
This topic will make people who have visited both mountains people are displeased.
Since ancient times, the biggest feature of Huashan Road is "danger".
There is another saying that everyone has heard a little bit. Xu Xiake said, "There is nothing like the Huangshan Mountain in Huihai and abroad. If you climb Huangshan Mountain, there is no mountain in the world, and you can't stop watching it!" Look at the mountains, don’t look at the mountains after returning from Huangshan.”
Huangshan gathers "the majesty of Mount Tai, the steepness of Mount Huashan, the skillful rocks of Yandang, and the coolness of Emei".
Some people say, "If the Five Sacred Mountains are merged with Huangshan Mountain, they will especially owe a spring of cinnabar."
If you have been to the Lotus Peak of Huangshan Mountain, you will know what majesty is. Once you go up to Tiandu Peak in Huangshan Mountain, you will know what danger is. If you have been to the West Sea Grand Canyon in Huangshan Mountain and encountered good weather, you will know what a paradise on earth is!
Come back and comment after you have finished this!
“No matter how high the mountain is, if there are immortals, there will be spiritual power; if the water is not deep, if there are dragons, there will be spiritual power.” Huangshan and Huashan are each unique and cannot be compared with each other. Their different regions and different regional cultures they represent are all treasures of Chinese civilization.
Huangshan is amazing for its strange rocks, sea of ??clouds, mist, pines and waterfalls. People often say: When you return from the Five Mountains, you don’t look at the mountains; when you return from Huangshan, you don’t look at the mountains. Huangshan is famous at home and abroad for its "five unique" wonders and extensive Huizhou culture, and is known as "the most amazing mountain in the world". The wonders of Huangshan Mountain represent the beauty of Jianghuai Mountains and Rivers. Poetry, calligraphy, painting, literature, relics, stories, etc. are included in the "Five Scenic Spots". There are also more than 100 pavilions, bridges, pavilions, etc., and nearly 300 cliff stone carvings in the past dynasties. The body is complete, including the Yan, Liu, Ou and Zhao factions. The "Huangshan School of Painting", famous for the beautiful scenery of Huangshan Mountain, is unique in the Chinese painting world.
Huashan Mountain is famous all over the world for its strangeness, danger, precipitousness, and clouds. The scenic spots such as the Sky Plank Road and the Flying Kites are steep and unique. Therefore, before the Tang Dynasty, few people climbed Huashan Mountain. Just as Wang Anshi said in "A Journey to Bao Chan Mountain": "The wonders and wonders of the world often lie in dangerous distances, and they are rarely accessible to people, so only those who are determined cannot reach them." After the Tang Dynasty, the number of people climbing Huashan Mountain began to increase, and there are 570 cultural relics of calligraphy and cliff carvings written by literati and calligraphers, more than 300 square meters of steles, and countless calligraphy styles. The stories, ruins, buildings, pavilions, pavilions, etc. are all well-sourced, documented, and fascinating.
Qin Shihuang first offered sacrifices to Huashan. Since the Han and Tang dynasties, the number of titles has increased and intensified. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ordered the construction of Jiling Palace, the predecessor of Xiyue Temple. Since then, emperors of all generations have worshiped Mount Hua, which represents the cultural origin and essence of the Yellow River Basin.
Therefore, Huangshan Mountain and Huashan Mountain stand in China. Each has its own uniqueness and cannot be compared with each other. Only by climbing in person can one know their different charms and appreciate the beauty of the cultural connotations they represent.
Of course it is the Himalayas, which is more exciting than Mount Huashan. If you feel that it is not enough, you can climb Mount Everest by the way
I don’t quite agree with your point of view.
I have been to Huangshan twice and Mount Tai once. Huangshan Mountain is all-encompassing, combining danger, beauty, and natural scenery. The impression of Huashan is mainly that of danger, and there are also traces of acquired man-made features. The three most famous scenic spots, such as the Plank Road in the Sky, the Flying Kites, and the Thousand-foot Building, are all created by man.
When you come back from the Five Mountains, you don’t look at the mountains. When you come back from Huangshan, you don’t look at the mountains. The old saying still has its truth, don’t deny it easily.
Huashan Mountain is particularly dangerous.
