The weather in Hanzhong

First of all, Xi 'an is located at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains, which is just the only way for winter winds. Hanzhong, on the other hand, is south of the Qinling Mountains, and the winter wind consumes a lot of energy when crossing the Qinling Mountains. Therefore, the temperature in Hanzhong in January is higher than that in Xi 'an.

Secondly, Hanzhong is located at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains and in the north of Sichuan Basin. Water vapor from the Indian Ocean can easily reach here, but it is difficult to cross the Qinling Mountains to reach Xi 'an. Therefore, the temperature in Hanzhong in January is higher than that in Xi 'an.
