On How to Cultivate the Reading Interest of Grade One Pupils
1. Teachers lead children to read together, and stimulate children's interest in reading.
For children who have just entered the first grade of primary school, it is difficult for most children to read independently because of the low literacy rate. Every day, I will use the morning self-study time, and sometimes I will read a picture book story to my children. When I read this book to my children, I will also show my love and enthusiasm for reading to my students. I will invisibly encourage and expect my children to read like me. After reading, they will put the books on the shelves in the classroom. Some children will look for the story they just told after class. Because the pictures in the picture book are beautifully illustrated, children will soon be attracted by the pictures inside, and some unfamiliar words will be guessed and read according to the beautiful pictures. Sometimes, when reading, they are encouraged to guess the story behind them, come up with a story different from the author or continue this story. For example, children can imagine themselves as little girls, feel stories and think about what I would do when I was a little girl in gruffalo. This not only stimulates children's interest in reading, but also invisibly permeates reading methods. After a long time, I will gradually let a child read it to my classmates. There are more and more students showing reading, and they are constantly encouraged, so that every student can feel the happiness of reading and arouse the enthusiasm of students.
2. Teachers encourage children to share their gains and stimulate children's interest in reading.
At the beginning of listening to a story, sometimes you will ask them to share what you have gained after listening to the story. Before sharing the harvest, say loudly, "Please listen carefully!" It will also make them think about what you have gained as a reader. Then think about how to make your harvest feel the best when sharing. This is an opportunity to exercise children's oral ability. It doesn't matter what the child says. Our aim is to encourage children to speak their thoughts and feelings bravely and enjoy the reading experience. Under such a request, many children listened carefully. With the increase of children's literacy, encourage children to read independently. You can use the first few minutes of each Chinese class. If a child has new reading content, you can put the book on the desktop and let him introduce his reading content. By sharing reading content, children can have a sense of reading achievement and stimulate other children's reading interest.
3. Timely guidance of reading methods
(1) Read aloud
According to the characteristics of 6-and 7-year-old children, read the sentences thoroughly from reading aloud until you read your own feelings. Give children some praise and encouragement, and they will be interested in continuing.
(2) Learn more about Chinese characters in reading.
On the basis of reading aloud, new requirements are put forward for students, that is, circle the new words in the essay, read the syllables several times to achieve direct call, and then practice reading the full text. This not only consolidates Chinese Pinyin, but also clears the way for children to read aloud. Unconsciously, they will know many words that are not required in the textbook.
(3) Read with questions and communicate what you understand.
After adhering to the above reading methods for a period of time, I put forward higher reading requirements for my children with the article "Little Bear Crossing the Bridge". Students will ask such questions when they are familiar with it: What difficulties did the bear encounter when crossing the bridge? After the students answered quickly, they continued to ask: How did the bear cross the bridge? So who do you like? Why? After the students answered, they concluded: "Don't be afraid of difficulties, face them bravely and learn to stand on your own feet;" In life, know how to help your partner in trouble, and don't laugh at him. "Then, sum up with the students, what method is used to read this passage: reading with questions, you can also find problems, and you can also communicate what you have read with your partners and parents.
The above stages guide students to read more extracurricular books, and gradually guide students to read and think silently, so that students can truly appreciate the fun of reading.
Second, create a good reading environment and form a partner reading atmosphere.
1. Create a good reading space for children
A good reading environment can stimulate children's desire to read. We can put epigrams and famous sayings about reading on the wall of the classroom. You can also set up a reading corner to provide children with books that they can choose freely. First-year students' thinking is based on concrete images, and their attention time is short. In the selection of books, you can choose short picture books with beautiful pictures. Picture books can easily make children feel the joy of reading with their childish pictures and ways of thinking. Most of the pictures in the picture book are the works of famous illustrators at home and abroad, so that children can enjoy the beauty of language in reading and get the aesthetic taste of works of art. Good picture books can bring children into the process of beautiful stories, cultivate their emotions, develop their artistic aesthetic ability and cultivate their imagination and creativity. Last semester, Senior One recommended such pinyin picture books as Martina's Story, Zhuang Le and Sophie, and Entomology in Fabres, which are close to children's lives. These stories are short and pithy, with prominent themes, which help students describe the content of the stories. And the exquisite picture close to life helps to understand the story when reading. In addition to picture books, you can also choose story books with Chinese pinyin for children to read with the help of syllables. You can also recommend different bibliographies according to gender, so that children can choose a favorite book to read, which is the guarantee to cultivate children's reading interest.
2. Create reading time for children.
At the parent-teacher meeting before the start of school, parents will be asked to put one or two extracurricular books that their children like in their schoolbags.
As long as children finish their learning tasks, encourage them to spend a little time reading books and tell them that time is like water in a sponge. As long as you know how to hurry, a little time will allow you to finish reading your favorite story. Slowly, some children will take out their books and read them carefully as soon as they finish the learning tasks assigned by their teachers. In this reading atmosphere, it will also drive some students to take out books and turn them over.
In this way, some children who love reading will find more reading time by themselves. For example, play for a while after lunch and go back to the classroom to study when you are tired; Hazy weather, no exercise, also
