Cofferdam pool building

According to the requirements of healthy culture of Stichopus japonicus, it is necessary to build a stone cofferdam pond and an 80-mu standard pond in the form of a stone reef. * * * Throwing stones of 654.38+0.8 million m3, 654.38+0 east-west semi-tidal experimental pond for healthy culture of Stichopus japonicus was built, with convenient water intake and drainage. In order to facilitate the cleaning of the pool, the reef layer in the pool is ridge-shaped, and stones are dropped along the nine-shaped frame. The reef formation is 2.5m wide and 1.2m high, and the cumulative ridge length of the reef formation is 3580m. The west weir of the pond faces the sea, and there are two inlet and outlet gates, high and low. The lower sluice is used to clear the pond and drain water, and the water level of the sluice foundation is equal to the lowest tidal level. It is difficult for the foundation of high sluice to have a semi-tidal surface, so the tidal range can be used to naturally absorb the tide into the pool. Both high and low doors can be controlled manually. In addition, 1 inlet and outlet water pump units are specially set beside the adjacent sea weir for emergency use. After the pond is completed, the water in the pond will be drained with a low sluice at low tide, and the rest will be pumped dry to remove harmful organisms such as goby, Japanese mackerel and starfish. Level the bottom of the pool and sprinkle 70 kilograms of lime powder per mu for disinfection. After 1 week, apply 1000kg fermented chicken manure per mu, inject 50cm water and apply fertilizer for 60 days. When the water quality is stable and benthic diatoms breed in the pond, the sea cucumber seedlings are put in.

Seed source and release

The seeds of Stichopus japonicus come from natural harvesting and artificial cultivation, and the size of the naturally harvested seeds is uneven, generally 3 ~ 10 cm long. After 3 ~ 5 days of temporary cultivation and grading screening, the damaged seedlings are removed, quickly put into the breeding pond and then put into the breeding pond. The artificially cultivated seedlings are all cultivated in the middle, and the sea cucumber is put into the pool when it grows to more than 5 cm.

Feeding and management

After the seed of Stichopus japonicus is put into the feeding management stage, the main work is to feed well and adjust the daily water quality.

Feed feeding: feed the culture pond evenly every two days, including 50% starch, 20% sea mud, 8% fish meal and 22% seaweed powder, and the combined feeding amount is about 10% of the total sea cucumber. In order to keep the water quality stable and feed rich, the artificial reefs along the ridge were piled up in the pond to cultivate kelp and Undaria pinnatifida, and algae plants such as Sargassum and Sargassum thunbergii were transplanted in the pond to create a good habitat for the healthy culture of Stichopus japonicus.

Preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of diseases, using 1 time every half month, and sprinkling water all over the pool at low tide can play a very good preventive effect.

Water quality control In order to prevent floating garbage and oil slick pollution from entering the pond with the tide, three floating raft anti-pollution and anti-oil nets are set in the water inlet channel to intercept floating garbage and oil slick pollution. Technicians insist on observing the water quality in the pool every day, and regularly carry out 1 water quality testing every 7 days during high temperature. Every low tide and rainstorm, ss will start the water pump to transfer water to the pond in time to prevent the salinity of the pond from decreasing and the seawater from desalinating.

Controlling temperature and increasing oxygen is the high temperature season in Longkou from mid-July to early September every year. Every day, from 1 1: 00 to 3: 00 am, aquaculture personnel regularly sail and surf at high speed in the pond with 8 horsepower fishing boats to increase oxygen and cool down, so as to prevent Stichopus japonicus from suffocation and death due to lack of oxygen.
