Xingtai, formerly known as Xing, xing zhou and Shunde, is a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province. It is a node city of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration approved by Hebei provincial government, an advanced manufacturing base and logistics hub in south-central Hebei province. Xingtai is located in North China and southern Hebei, with Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon railways, Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon high-speed railways, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Daguang and Taihang Mountains running through the north and south. Xinghe Expressway, Xingfen Expressway, Xinglin Expressway and Yin Qing Expressway run through east and west, and together with Xingtai International Inland Port and Xingtai Airport, they form a transportation hub connecting east and west and connecting north and south.

It is the first city in North China, known as the ancient capital of five dynasties and the male county of ten generations. Geographical environment of Xingtai city
Xingtai is located in the south-central part of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of the southern section of Taihang Mountain, in the middle of North China Plain, between the three provinces of Shanxi, Hebei and Shandong, with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the east, Taihang Mountain and Shanxi Province in the west, Shijiazhuang City and Hengshui City in the north and northeast, and Handan City in the south. The longest thing in the city is185km, and the widest from north to south is 80km, with a total area of12400km2.
Xingtai belongs to the warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, large temperature difference during the year and concentrated precipitation. The annual average temperature ranges from 12℃ to 14℃, in which 1 is the coldest, with an average temperature of around -2℃, an extreme minimum temperature of -20℃, and the hottest in July with an average temperature of 27℃ and an extreme maximum temperature of 4 1℃. It is dusty in spring, dry in climate and hot in summer.
