Baiyun Mountain in Luoyang is an AAAAA tourist attraction in China and one of the most beautiful canyons in the Central Plains. The vegetation here is lush and the air is fresh and natural. However, in winter, the weather is cold and dry, and the scenic spot enters a strict forest fire prevention period, and some tourist trails are closed. See below for details.

Luoyang Baiyun Mountain Tourist Resort is located in the hinterland of Funiu Mountain, southwest of Songxian County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot with lush vegetation and rich species, with a forest coverage rate of over 98.5% and a high forest fire risk rating. In order to ensure the safety of forest resources in the park and prevent forest fires, according to the requirements of the superior forestry authorities and the needs of forest fire prevention work in the resort, it is decided to enter the strict management period of forest fire prevention from 2021105438+05 to April 30, 2022, and close some sections with high forest fire risk in the park:

1. Yuhuangding trail and dripping cornice trail in Yuhuangding tourist area are closed. The trail in the Kowloon Grand Canyon Tourist Area is open to the Kowloon Waterfall Observation Deck, while the Xia Yan Trail in Kowloon (Zhuanghe Tourist Trail) is closed.

Secondly, tourists can take the Yuhuangding cableway to the Yuhuangding Trail. The Bailong cableway in Kowloon Tourist Area is operating normally.

Three. The opening hours of the park in winter are 8:00- 17:00 every morning. In case of extreme weather or special circumstances, the official announcement shall prevail.

Four. During the strict management of forest fire prevention, the park will strictly manage fire sources and prohibit all kindling from entering the park. It is strictly forbidden to burn wasteland, smoke, burn paper on the grave, set off firecrackers, burn straw and dead leaves and other illegal acts of using fire in the park.

Brief introduction of Baiyun Mountain in Luoyang

Baiyun Mountain is located in Songxian County, Luoyang City. There are countless waterfalls and deep pools, as well as dangerous peaks, strange rocks and virgin forest landscapes everywhere. The air is fresh. This is natural oxygen. Yuhuangding in the scenic area is about 2200 meters above sea level, which is one of the highest peaks in the Central Plains and a good place to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds. In addition to natural landscapes, Baiyun Mountain also has human landscapes represented by Wuman Temple, Yunyan Temple and Huang Yuting.

The scenic spot is relatively large. If there is enough time, it is recommended to spend two days visiting Baiyun Mountain. After entering the scenic spot on the first day, you can visit Bai Yunfeng, Luhua Valley, Jiulong Waterfall and other areas (you can choose to combine hiking with cableway), and stay near the central square that night. The central square is the area where accommodation in Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area is concentrated. The next day, I visited Xiaohuangshan and Huangyu Pavilion, and climbed to the top of the Central Plains-Yuhuangding.

If you want to go to the Jade Emperor Peak to watch the sunrise, you can stay near the Jade Emperor Pavilion on the first night. There are accommodation points in the scenic spot, but not many. Visitors can bring some snacks and drinking water when climbing the mountain.
