Even if insurance is included, it does not mean that everything in the trip can be insured, nor does it mean that you can fully compensate after an accident. An insurance practitioner told reporters that different companies have different exemption clauses. When choosing overseas travel insurance, we should pay special attention to whether the items involved in the itinerary are within the scope of protection. In addition, when ordering outbound tourism products through online travel platforms, the overseas insurance involved is usually the cooperation between online platforms and insurance companies. However, not all insurance companies are eligible for surrender, and cooperative insurance companies that are not eligible for surrender will not receive compensation.

Most island tourism projects have restrictive provisions in the modification and withdrawal rules. For example, the Phuket online travel product purchase agreement states that "the itinerary is for reference only, and the specific itinerary guide will be fine-tuned according to the wind and tide of the day without notice". Therefore, it is still necessary to be optimistic about how the platform intends to deal with it in advance and what the relevant regulations are.
