Why is Mohe in Heilongjiang a city that never sleeps?
Mohe, located on the bank of Heilongjiang Province, is the northernmost town in China, and is known as the "Arctic Village" in China. The winter in "Arctic Village" is particularly cold. Eight months of the year are cold winters. Days when the temperature is between minus 30 and minus 40 degrees can last for three months.
As we all know, we call it the day after sunrise, the same day and the night after sunset. In summer in Mohe, the sun rises at 2 am and sets slowly until 9 pm, followed by a long and bright dusk, which is the dark time at night. And when dusk has not turned into darkness, the east is white again, which is dawn. We call this phenomenon Mohe white night, dusk and dawn are closely linked, which is what people call the city that never sleeps.
