Deep still water _ Interview with Yumen Source of Shule River (1)

When Liu Huan wholeheartedly sang such a powerful song: "The river flows eastward, and the stars in the sky join the Beidou ...", I really don't have any practical feelings for me, because this river has been flowing from west to east since ancient times.

It was not until this water, which runs in the opposite direction and twists and turns from east to west, came to my hometown from the source of Yumen in Shule River and entered Dunhuang West Lake National Nature Reserve that I really realized it.

When the invitation phone rang in the morning, I was still in a daze, maybe I just woke up, and the difference between reality and dreams was not very clear. It's just that my subconscious obsession with going out for a walk has overwhelmed me.

The weather in late autumn, such beautiful and colorful vegetation, is dazzling, anywhere, as long as it is in a strange world.

This is a real trip.

All the way east, along the expressway, out of Dunhuang, through Guazhou County, Bulongji, Shuangta Reservoir, to Yumen City, to Changma Township, and finally into Yurong Township, Subei Mongolian Autonomous County, Erdaochuan Canal.

Qilian winding ups and downs, golden grassland as vast as the sea, Shule River bed clean and flat.

A clear stream in the mountain, such as transparent jade, appears in a deep stream, and the naturally formed river flows wide or narrow, surrounded by peaks, which truly realizes Su Shi's famous saying: horizontally, the mountain side becomes a peak, and the left and right heights are different.

Achnatherum splendens seen in many places is based on the autumn wind, swinging from side to side and lively.

In the 340-kilometer drive, I saw clear water several times and then disappeared. In the embrace of the mountains, I finally saw the source of Yumen about 70 meters deep-Shule River.

It is pure water from outer space, without any impurities, pure as jade and transparent as a mirror.

When I went to Qinghai that year, I witnessed the blue lagoon where Qinghai Lake is connected with the sky, but I didn't go to Chaka Salt Lake. I heard it's called the mirror of heaven. Now here, in this quiet place surrounded by mountains, I really saw it.

It flows quietly in the mountains, and its reflection is clearly visible under the sunlight. The exposed mountain has obvious folds, and the half-bright and half-dark light creates a strong visual contrast.

In fact, when entering the mountain road, one side is looking up from the mountain, and the other side is flowing water, circling around and finally flowing west. In those days, in order to get through the western regions, Zhang Qian also went all the way to the west.

I have seen the turbid waves of the Yellow River, the endless North Sea and the fog rising from Hukou Waterfall. Now, the deep stream flows quietly to the west, but it starts from here and goes on wave after wave until my wet and melted hometown.

Look at the inscription on the bluestone, the water is 328 kilometers, so far! It's a little closer than the expressway, but it's also a long way.

The water is where I can see it, sometimes thick, sometimes thin and never stops. As a result, all the places passing by are harmonious. As the saying goes: one side of the soil and water raises one side. The water from the source of Yumen in Shule River tirelessly irrigates the passing counties and cities, day and night.

Not far from the north of the source, where the running water passes, there is a naturally formed bridge. Later, Jiugang Group mined here, and the builders built an iron bridge on it to ensure the passage of vehicles. And its previous name, called Tianshengqiao, I read it from front to back, and it really lived up to its name. The power of nature is always beyond our imagination, and its power and exquisiteness are incomparable.

Shule river basin, riverbed and water flow, with such a gesture, let me feast my eyes. When it's really the size of heaven and earth, there is no wonder. It is true that everything has a origin.

The river is like a jasper, which is beneficial to people's eyes. It's our first time to see it. The joy is beyond words.

In the sunset, when I reluctantly bid farewell to the source of Yumen in Shule River, I felt infinite attachment in my heart, and then another idea came out. Why not do it again next spring and summer? Wouldn't it be better to look at the flowing water and mountains in late autumn and the state in spring and summer?

There is an old saying: People who dig wells never forget to drink water. This missing person trip filled the gap in my resume. It also made me understand that such a visit has profound significance in the journey of life.
