Deep in the mountains, there are dense primeval forests. Along the river road, there are fertile fields and fertile soil, where green beans, peas, corn, flue-cured tobacco, peppers, and cauliflower are growing well. Dark green, light green, gray green, dark green, filling the fields and mountains. A clear river flows happily to Xinzhai Reservoir. At the entrance of the village is the famous Yunling Shanquan Canning Factory. I saw its promotional video in Shuihuolu, which was very touching.

I know Houhe because a friend posted a picture of picking up mushrooms on Moments more than ten days ago. I arrived at Xinzhai Reservoir two days ago, but I didn’t dare to come in because it was too late. But the thought of going to Houhe has been tormenting me in the past two days. Yesterday and the day before yesterday, it rained heavily. When I woke up this morning, it didn’t rain. Although it was cloudy and foggy, I still got up early and was ready to go to Houhe. .

This time I finally came to Houhe. The trip to Houhe went relatively smoothly. I always felt that it was my persistent desires and thoughts that moved God. God took pity on my hard work. Didn't make things difficult for me. Even at this moment, the sun showed its smiling face from the clouds, warming me who was caressed by the cold wind all the way. Little Heipi enjoyed delicious food beside me, eating eggs and gnawing bones with great joy. I just entered the village, caught chickens and chased ducks, causing the whole village to croak and croak, which must have consumed a lot of energy. What's even more impressive is that I followed the electric car all the way from Xinzhai Reservoir, and I looked extremely excited. Yes, after holding it in for two whole days and having no energy to run, it might be a kind of lonely and helpless torture for her.

By the way, you ask me, why do you come to Houhe? It’s fun to come here. Needless to say, going up the mountain to collect mushrooms is the happiest and most fulfilling thing in this season. Enjoying delicious food requires a sacrifice of physical strength and energy. Appreciating the beautiful scenery of the reservoir and quietly enjoying a rare cool world is also a happy experience. After drinking, I drank the mountain spring water from the river. This water should be of better quality than Fuxian Lake and can be directly drank without any pollution. I sipped the water by the river and drank it. It was refreshing and sweet, like drinking good tea. I also gave Xiao Heipi a bottle so that she could replenish water when necessary. Take a look at the simple and warm houses in the village, watch the smoke slowly rising from the kitchens, and then disperse in the trees, mountains and rivers. You can smell the fragrance of rice. The pure and natural smell of fireworks will definitely make you fascinated. Even if you stop and go, look at the crops, vegetables, forest shrubs, or even the clumps of mugwort on the roadside, the medicinal fragrance will make you feel refreshed and relaxed. Along Houhe Road, there is another village called Laoguanqing or Laoguangqing, which also belongs to Chunhe Town, Hongta District, three or four kilometers away from Houhe. After crossing another mountain, we arrived at Shuanghe Township in Jinning County, a mountain village called Walnut Garden. I visited it once many years ago and it was a relatively large village. My electric car doesn’t allow me to think otherwise.

Before entering Xinzhai Reservoir, a small new road forks on the left. The destination has a very interesting name~~~Ma Tulong. I sent a location map to a friend at the Qingshui River Camp in Luohe Township, and it showed Ma Tulong. But when I asked the villagers working on the roadside, they said it was inaccessible because it was on the other side of the mountain and there was no road here. I can't go today because the distance is seven kilometers and it is always a winding mountain road. It is very troublesome to get in and out.

On the way back, you can see three to five cars parked in one place or a car parked alone on the roadside from a distance of three to five hundred meters. Most of them are motorcycles, which are probably easier to ride, then vans, and then off-road vehicles and cars. You can hear lively chatter and laughter on the mountain. Needless to say, they are all people who travel through mountains and rivers to collect fungi. It is really hard to get up early and carry dry food and water on your back. It is not easy to prepare raincoats and rain boots when it rains. Although I don't know how to cook mushrooms, every time I meet an old woman selling mushrooms on the roadside, I don't know how to bargain.

I am still afraid of rainy days when entering the mountains. It is a bit dangerous. Although the road conditions are good, rockfalls can be seen everywhere. The soil is soft and rain-soaked, and rockfalls and landslides are unavoidable. Therefore, it is better to go to Houhe when the weather is clear. On the way back to Huangcaoba, I saw villagers picking tobacco leaves in the tobacco fields. There were huge yellowing leaves half a meter long piled neatly on the roadside. I knew that the flue-cured tobacco here was about to enter the baking season.

We can drink wildly with mountain spring water by the flowing stream, just like enjoying nectar. If there is light rain, it is also a good choice to hold an umbrella or simply walk on the clean Houhe Road for most of the day in the rain. Or just squat quietly on the field ridge by the roadside, with your eyes filled with soothing green, and just sit in a daze.
