Northern Xinjiang: Urumqi-Altay (Kanas Lake) goes to northern Xinjiang, and if you take a bus, you will also pass through Qicai Bay Scenic Area. Rich scenic spots such as Cocoto Sea and Fuhai Sea are also in northern Xinjiang, but it doesn't seem to pass through Altay. The ghost town of Karamay is also on this line.

Western Xinjiang: Urumqi-Yili (Sailimu Lake, Nalati Grassland)

Eastern Xinjiang: Urumqi-Turpan (Grape Valley)

Five-year scenic spots and three lakes in Xinjiang are covered. In August, the weather in southern Xinjiang is really hot, and the eastern Xinjiang is also dry and short of water. The climate in northern Xinjiang is humid and the weather is cool. Go to the beautiful scenery in August and kill two birds with one stone. Kanas, in particular, is the best place to go this season. It will be very cold after September, so I need to wear long clothes and trousers now. I've been to all the places listed above except Cocoto Sea, which is a newly assessed 5-year scenic spot in recent years and became famous. Kanas is one of the best. It is highly recommended to go to northern Xinjiang.
