Many accidents and disasters are often caused by imperfect prediction, early warning and prevention mechanisms of natural disasters, insufficient estimation of the severity of disasters and ineffective preventive measures. How to effectively prevent all kinds of accidents caused by natural disasters is indeed a realistic problem that governments at all levels and relevant departments must seriously study and think about, and it is also a new topic faced by safety production supervision.

The second is to establish and improve the disaster prediction, early warning and prevention mechanism under the unified leadership of the government and the linkage of departments and enterprises.

Where there is a problem, the responsibility of that link will be investigated. In a word, it is necessary to prevent accidents caused by natural disasters.

Third, as far as production enterprises are concerned, all kinds of enterprises, especially industrial and mining enterprises, should not only do a good job in internal safety management, but also carefully investigate and control hidden dangers. At the same time, they should conduct a comprehensive investigation of hidden dangers caused by the surrounding natural environment and implement preventive measures such as flood control, flood control, water seepage prevention, collapse prevention, debris flow prevention and lightning protection. For example, the coal mine of Huayuan Company is near Chaiwen River. Due to long-term illegal sand mining, about 1.58 million square meters of low-lying land has been left, and there are many cavities and cracks in the outcrop coal after being stolen, which has great hidden dangers. The mine is not unknown. In recent years, the method of filling and blocking has also been adopted to control it. However, the serious harm caused by the breach of the river bank was underestimated, so the treatment was not thorough, and the major hidden dangers were not eradicated, leaving a curse. Therefore, in the notice of the General Office of the State Council, there is a special provision: mines with hidden dangers of water seepage must stop production and evacuate people during typhoons and rainstorms, and underground operations are not allowed. This rule was bought with blood and life and must be strictly enforced. At the same time, it is stressed that it is necessary to formulate and improve emergency plans and equip them with necessary drainage equipment and materials to ensure that emergency rescue and relief work can be put in place in time when disasters occur.

Everything in the world is established in advance, and it will be abolished without planning. It's never too late to mend, but it's wiser to plan ahead. Through the analysis and reflection on many recent accidents caused by natural disasters, it is hoped that governments at all levels and relevant units can really learn from them and take resolute and effective measures to prevent them, so that the safety of people's lives and property can be effectively maintained and guaranteed.
