Especially since June 19, the highest temperature in most parts of Henan province has remained high, staying above 34℃ for several days.

Take Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, as an example: On February1day, the highest temperature in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, rose to 40. 1℃, and the Henan Meteorological Bureau issued the first high-temperature red warning signal this year. On 24th, the highest temperature in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, reached 4 1.9℃, breaking the record of the highest temperature in late June, becoming the first high temperature in late June since 195 1 and the highest temperature this year. At 8: 40am, the Henan Meteorological Bureau released the high temperature red warning signal again. Meteorologists also said that it is rare for the highest temperature in Zhengzhou to exceed 4 1℃, only once every 6-7 years on average. According to statistics, in June 2009, the number of days with high temperature exceeding 35 degrees in Zhengzhou reached 14, that is to say, nearly half of the time in June was covered by high temperature.

In late June, the highest temperatures in many cities in Henan also exceeded the 40℃ mark. On the 25th, the high temperature in Luoyang was 465,438 0.9℃, and that in Anyang was 43.2℃, which exceeded the historical maximum. The temperature in Qinyang City of Jiaozuo City reached 43.4℃, which is also the highest temperature monitored since the station was recorded.
