Did the typhoon land in Shandong?

Since 1949, a total of 12 tropical cyclones have landed in Shandong (tropical storms above magnitude 8, excluding tropical depression).

Judging from the landing intensity, there are 9 strong tropical storms and 3 tropical storms in 12 tropical cyclones.

The strongest tropical storms are 6005, 74 16 and 8509, all of which are 1 1.

From the distribution of landing time, it is concentrated in July, August and September.

July 5, August 5, September 1.

On September 20th, 2007, 07 13 "Weipa" landed in Rongcheng, Shandong Province, which was the latest tropical cyclone to land in Shandong Peninsula since 1949.

On June 20 1 1, Miller also landed in Rongcheng, Shandong Province, which was the earliest tropical cyclone to land in Shandong Peninsula since 1949.

Rongcheng also successfully won the honor of landing in Shandong at the earliest and latest.

From the landing site, Rushan is the most.

The distribution of tropical cyclones landing in Shandong during 1949-20 10 is as follows, and the landing sites all belong to Shandong Peninsula:

A case of tropical cyclone landing in Shandong

There are two kinds of tropical cyclones that landed in Shandong during 1949-20 10. One kind of tropical cyclones landed directly on Shandong Peninsula in the offshore north, and the other kind landed in the Yellow Sea in the southeast coast and landed on Shandong Peninsula again.

These two routes are very different for landing in Liaoning in the future.

There are six direct landing points in Shandong Peninsula: 6005, 6705, 7203, 7303, 74 16, 94 15,105, of which 6705, 74 16.

The five cities of 6007, 6208, 8509, 97 1 1 and 07 13 all landed on the southeast coast first, and then landed on Shandong Peninsula. Only 8509 landed in Liaoning, accounting for only 20%.

This is because if you land directly in Shandong, it means that its turning point is relatively north, so it is difficult to escape from Liaoning when you turn to the northeast at this time.

If you land on the southeast coast first and then in Shandong, you will have turned to the northeast before landing in Shandong, and the weight to the east will be very large in the later period, and the chance of landing in Liaoning will be greatly reduced.

The following are several tropical cyclones that landed in Shandong Peninsula:

7203 (Rita) landed in Shandong and went straight to Beijing and Tianjin.

Tropical storm No.3 (1972) was generated on the ocean east of Guam on July 7.

After that, the intensity increases and generally moves to the northwest. When it is strongest, it will reach a super typhoon (the lowest pressure in the center is 9 1 1 hectopascal, and the maximum wind speed is 65 m/s).

Then he drew a small circle in the Pacific Ocean and turned to move northeast.

According to the usual situation, once a typhoon turns to the northeast, it will basically go to running all the way and never look back.

However, 7203 unexpectedly turned another corner, turning to the north and turning to the west when approaching Japan.

Then, before and after entering the East China Sea, it made a gorgeous turn around the Ryukyu Islands, then went straight to Shandong Peninsula without hesitation, and landed in Rongcheng, Shandong Province with the intensity of a strong tropical storm on July 26.

After landing, it continued to move northwest and entered the Bohai Sea. On July 27th, it swept through Tianjin and Beijing (it landed in Tanggu, Tianjin with a tropical depression of 7 winds on the morning of July 27th) and finally disappeared at the border between China and Mongolia.

7203 is a magical typhoon, because it still moves steadily to the northwest after landing on Shandong Peninsula (in most cases, it turns to the north or northeast after arriving in Shandong), affecting Beijing and Tianjin (heavy rain in Beijing and Tianjin, heavy rain in the northeast of Beijing, and strong winds of magnitude 6-7 generally appear in Beijing and Tianjin).

Not only is the path strange (three turns), but 7203 has a life history of 26 days from tropical depression (from July 5 to 30, it turned into an extratropical cyclone on July 28).

It is the most magical typhoon in 1972.

6007 (Shirley) runs through Taiwan Province Province, Fujian Province, Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province, Jiangsu Province and Shandong Province.

6007 was the lowest pressure in the northwest Pacific during 1960 (the lowest pressure was 9 10 hectopascals, and the wind speed was 70 m/s), which was also the strongest tropical cyclone that landed in China that year.

It has landed three times in Yilan, Taiwan Province (July 3 1-22: 02 1 55-60m/s), Lianjiang, Fujian (August120: 35m/s) and Qingdao, Shandong (August 5, 3-4: 08).

After landing, the path is "serpentine". After going out to sea from Jiangsu, it turned to the northwest and landed in Qingdao.

There is a strong wind of 6-9 in Shandong Peninsula.

After passing through Shandong Peninsula, it weakened and dissipated in Bohai Sea.

8509 (Mamie) swept through in the north and suffered serious losses in the northeast.

It was formed on the ocean surface in the east of Taiwan Province Province in mid-August. After it formed, it oscillated slightly and then moved north.

Turn left from 17 and approach Chinese mainland. 18 landed in Qidong, Jiangsu 12 for the first time, and then scraped the land close to Jiangsu to the north (the scraping degree was amazing, even if the China table tennis team was invited, it was impossible to hit such a ball). /kloc-at 9: 00 on October 8, it landed in Jiaonan, Shandong for the second time.

Then it moved northeast and dissipated in Heilongjiang.

The third landfall of 8509 was a strong tropical storm of 1 1, with a central wind speed of 30m/s and the lowest pressure of 980, 983 and 98 1 hectopascal respectively.

The latitude of this tropical cyclone is relatively high, and it is north of China offshore. In the process of landing northward, the intensity did not decrease, and it affected a wide range (Taiwan Province Province in the south and Heilongjiang Province in the north), resulting in large-scale precipitation and windy weather, especially in Shandong and Northeast provinces. As three tropical cyclones, 8506, 8508 and 8509, went northward one after another, the disaster was extremely serious, which was rare in history.

07 13 (Wepa) is the latest tropical cyclone that landed in Shandong.

In 2007, Tropical Storm "Weipa"No. 13 was generated over the northwest Pacific Ocean on September 16, and intensified into a typhoon in the early morning of June 17, and intensified into a super typhoon in the morning of June 18. Maximum wind force near the center16 (55m/s).

19 landed at Xiaguan Town, Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province at 2: 30. When landing, the maximum wind force near the center 14 (45 m/s) was a strong typhoon.

After landfall, the intensity weakened rapidly and weakened into a tropical storm on June 9 1 1.

After staying in Zhejiang for about 15 hours and 30 minutes, Weipa passed through Anhui and Jiangsu successively and entered the Yellow Sea before 7: 00 on the 20th.

Subsequently, "Weipa" crossed the eastern Shandong Peninsula northward, degenerated into an extratropical cyclone in the northern part of the Yellow Sea (Figure 12), and stopped numbering 14 on the 20th.

Wepa is the latest tropical cyclone to land in Shandong since 1949, the only tropical cyclone to land in Shandong in September since 1949, and the northernmost tropical cyclone to land in China in September.

1 105 (Miller) The earliest tropical cyclone that landed in Shandong and the latest tropical cyclone that landed in Shandong recently.

The No.5 tropical storm "Miller" of 20 1 1 was generated on the afternoon of June 22, and then intensified into a strong tropical storm and headed north.

In June, tropical cyclones rarely take such a path, which doomed the birth of historical records.

On June 26th, 2 1: 10, this moment went down in history. Miller landed in Chengshan Town, Rongcheng, Shandong Province as a tropical storm (magnitude 9), becoming the earliest tropical cyclone to land in Shandong since 1949. The only tropical cyclone that landed in Shandong in June was the one that landed in the northernmost part of China in June.
