What sad things have you heard or experienced?

The most poignant story I have ever heard came from Ye Guangqin’s speech.

The 1980s. Zeng Zhou went to inspect giant pandas, fell off a cliff and died. So he was buried in Sanguan Temple. His classmates have all become famous experts on giant pandas in the country. For example, Lu Zhi, for example, his teacher Pan Shiwen, was with them at that time. As a student of the Biology Department of Peking University, Zeng Zhou stayed in Zisanguan Temple forever.

When his classmates left, they planted many plants unique to Qinling around his tomb. Among them is Taibai Rhododendron. On the first anniversary of Zeng Zhou's death, his father came to Sanguan Temple from Shantou, Guangdong. The old man, who graduated from Tsinghua University, was alone and sat in front of Zeng Zhou's tomb for a whole morning without saying a word.

Sitting in front of Zeng Zhou’s tomb, the old man took out a photo. It was exactly that of a child, with energetic eyes and a green face. Look at the world outside. This old man only had this one son, and this son was admitted to Peking University with the first place in Shantou, so he stayed in Sanguan Temple.

When he was leaving, the old gentleman shouted to the mountain:

Zeng Zhou, dad is gone. Dad is old and will never see you again.
