Causes of Cloudy and Foggy in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau

The plateau topography above 3000 meters above sea level in Yunnan-Guizhou region, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the west and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau have obvious diversion effect on the west wind, and the cold and warm air currents meet in eastern Tibet, which increases the humidity in Yunnan-Guizhou region in eastern Tibet. The southeast and southwest monsoon regions are rich in topographic precipitation. The quasi-static wind in Kunming is the main source of precipitation in this area. To sum up, a foggy weather phenomenon has been formed.
