Landscape Writing: Impression of Hangzhou

In the early morning, it was misty all over the sky, and I drove hundreds of kilometers to Hangzhou, where it was drizzling.

My first impression of Hangzhou is the high-speed interchange, where foreign vehicles bypass; There are many high-rise buildings, and the prosperity of modern big cities.

Entering the old city from the suburbs, the floors are getting lower and lower, the space is getting wider and wider, and the vision is far away. The original name of the hotel I stayed in was exquisite: Huansha Hotel. Now the restaurant is contracted, under the contractor's brand, so it is called Fanghu Huansha Hotel. What a strange name, like a rich man robbing relatives.

The hotel is close to the West Lake, and it takes ten minutes to walk. There are small clothing stores, restaurants, bars, teahouses and coffee shops on both sides of the street. There are also several high-rise buildings that are world-famous shopping malls and department stores. Through the window, many new products attracted the attention of the ladies in the car. Before getting off the bus, they began to discuss the shopping plan.

Hangzhou is a "paradise" because of the beautiful West Lake. The city is built by the lake, and the lake is in the city. Today's West Lake still retains the pattern of three mountains and one city. In recent years, Hangzhou has vigorously introduced the Qiantang River into the lake and expanded the scenic spots along the lake. In addition to Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, Yang Gongdi Holiday and Leisure Zone has been developed. Standing on the edge of the city, you can see the lakes and mountains, and the waves are clear, like a picture.

Early spring in Jiangnan. The bright green willows outside the window, the white magnolia in full bloom, the purple magnolia in bud and the small red plum passing by from time to time have already broken the cold winter and rendered a vibrant spring. Facing the rippling lake, overlooking the graceful island and the bright moon in Santan Lake, I can enjoy the pleasing spring scenery at close range, and my tired bones and muscles can't help but relax. I am eager to sit quietly in the pavilion by the lake, watch it leisurely and savor it.

For group tourism, tourism is always divided into one stop and one stop. At each stop in a given period of time, the team members "follow" to take photos in turn and get on the bus to see the scenery. I am a carefree person, walking quietly in the crowd, trying to capture the beauty in front of me.

Lingyin Temple

Lingyin Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple near Feilai Peak at the foot of Lingyin Mountain, not far from the West Lake. According to legend, during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Indian monks went to Hangzhou, and when they saw this strange peak, they thought it was "hidden by the immortal spirit", so they chose the site to build a temple and named it Lingyin. Later, Jigong became a monk here, and the enthusiasm of "Wild Buddha" was high, and the story of the game industry became a household name, so Lingyin Temple became famous.

In the temple, the Heavenly King Hall, the Ursa Hall and the Medicine King Hall stand on the mountain, and there is a big Lohan Hall next to them. According to reports, Lingyin Temple is the largest temple in the city and a special case that was hardly destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The temple has been renovated, and only the towering old trees in front of the temple and beside the road silently tell a long history. The host specially introduced us: the plaque of Yunlin Temple hanging on the Tianwang Temple was inscribed by Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, and the Wei Tuo Bodhisattva carved from a whole piece of camphor wood was a relic of the Southern Song Dynasty; The 20-meter-high statue of Sakyamuni in Daxiong Hall is based on the famous Zen sculpture in the Tang Dynasty and carved from 24 pieces of camphor wood. It also tells us that the hidden bodhisattva is particularly effective and responsive, but it can only be fulfilled after it has achieved its wish.

I don't want anything, just look at it with my eyes and respect my heart. In Buddhist stories, from the Buddha to every arhat, everyone is respected by the world and sacrificed his life to solve the suffering in the world. May their spirit remain in the world forever.

Walking out of the gate, I feel that my eyes shine, the Feilai peak is like a screen, and the texture of the black stone wall is like a waterfall. There are lifelike Buddha statues in large and small caves on the wall. Green vines are rooted in the wall and complement the stone patterns. Under the wall, there are clear streams and flowing water, winding paths leading to secluded places, and small bridges flying across. At that time, I didn't feel the noise of the nearby cities. It is Bai Juyi's Cold Spring Pavilion.

Leifeng Pagoda/Leifeng Pagoda

Leifeng Pagoda is famous for the legend of the white snake. Although the monks of Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang are indignant with Fahai, they all say that the monk who broke up the couple and turned the bowl into a tower and put Bai Niangzi town under the tower is not the monk Fahai of Jinshan at all. However, the outstanding literary and artistic works handed down from generation to generation have far greater influence on the people than history, so I'm afraid this unjust case of Fahai is unclear.

Leifeng Pagoda is built on the south side of West Lake, opposite to Baokui Pagoda on the north side. This ancient pagoda was once destroyed by fire, and the remaining brick tower still stands on the mountain. From the photo, this brick tower, with small trees growing on the top and some cracks in the tower body, is particularly quaint and spectacular against the sunset glow.

The Leifeng Tower collapsed at 1924. Mr. Lu Xun recorded in "Re-discussion on the Collapse of Leifeng Pagoda" that the villagers heard that tower bricks could be kept safe at home, so they went to smoke them one after another and simply knocked down the ancient pagoda. Fortunately, the tower was not inclined at that time, and relics such as relics were pressed in the underground palace, which was cleaned up when it was rebuilt.

From the appearance, the rebuilt Leifeng Tower is nothing special except for its tall shape. Standing on the top of the mountain, we climbed a long flight of stairs. Walk to the front of the tower, only to find that there is an elevator coming from the foot of the mountain. After entering the tower, it was found that the bottom of the tower was supported by steel frames, with one to three floors, and the remains of the tower foundation of the site were preserved. Through the closed glass wall, loess and residual brick piles are clearly visible, and historical information is left to future generations with this part of the remains. The new tower adopts modern advanced building materials, and there is an elevator in the middle of more than three floors, so the elderly, the sick and the disabled can take the stairs. There are 2002 lotus flowers on the top floor of Jinding, surrounded by "Ding Gong" that can be lifted. It is said that there are treasures in the tower. There are murals on each tower wall, the seventh floor is carved with the story of the Buddha from birth to death, and the sixth floor is inlaid with several large mahogany carvings, the legend of the white snake. ...

While watching, we lamented that in recent years, in order to develop tourism, some localities have demolished ancient buildings, made fake cultural relics, and some have specially molded antique bricks to repair ancient buildings. Although the old building has been restored as before, the historical information of the original building has disappeared. Like this, it not only protects the real cultural relics, but also leaves modern architectural masterpieces for future generations. This idea is really amazing.

Take a walk by the lake

After dinner, the ladies can't wait to go shopping together. I walked out of the restaurant by the lake and looked at the stupa on the mountain in the distance. The pavilions at the top of the lake were outlined by various lights. Colorful lights are reflected in the nearby water waves, and they tremble slightly with the water waves. The couples around them hugged each other, walked leisurely, whispered and felt ecstatic. He took his companions for a walk by the lake.

The wide street by the lake is paved with red tiles, weeping willows beside the water sway gently in the evening breeze, and strings of willow velvet breed flocks flying in March. Not far from the street, there is an old camphor tree, whose branches extend outward to form an umbrella-shaped crown. Outside the street is a wide garden. At present, the trees are full of magnolia. Both white flowers and purple buds are so gorgeous that passers-by stop to look up and admire them.

Most people walking by the lake are nearby residents. They strolled leisurely by the lake and sat down to take a nap. Maybe this is part of their daily life, and it is really a day in "heaven"!

My companion especially likes the West Lake. More than ten years ago, she and her husband, who also served in the army, took their two-year-old son to Hangzhou for a holiday and stayed in the nearby Navy Guest House. Walking along the lake at the moment, she occasionally said, "At that time, we often rode bicycles and came to the lake to play." "Yes, these camphor trees have been by the lake, I still remember." Immersed in the memories of romantic holidays, her heart must be full of sweetness.

There are also some small pavilions and corridors by the lake. We were attracted by the dazzling array of silks, specialties and handicrafts, so we strolled into the shop and watched carefully. Inadvertently, I also met my favorite thing-I bought a pair of embroidered silk soft mirror covers and a pair of "Zhang Xiaoquan scissors", and she bought an embroidered cushion cover. It turns out that walking is the same as shopping.

Modern people like novelty and excitement, and the quiet scenery has been difficult to satisfy the interest of tourists. On the West Lake, a luminous musical fountain is also installed, which is open regularly. Walking through the lake shore, I saw many people waiting for the lake, thinking that there was a show on the lake and didn't care. When I came back, the music began and countless water columns danced with the music. Every song has a different rhythm, and the water dances differently. All kinds of colorful lights hit the water curtain, changing with the waves, which is dizzying. We found a place to sit down in the nearby porch, watching the quiet and moving night, the evening breeze blowing on our faces, the music pleasing to the ear, and the whole body and mind were immersed in softness and comfort.

Lingfeng Tan Mei Scenic Area

Chun Mei is the most worrying flower in this season. I heard that I was going to enjoy plum blossoms, and the enthusiastic host made arrangements.

When I came to Hangzhou Botanical Garden in the morning, the first thing I saw was Magnolia. Dozens of magnolia trees lined the streets with dazzling white flowers. A gust of wind, countless petals flying from the branches, falling down. Tourists who pay attention to the scenery can't help but sigh with regret: "Ah! ……"

Plum trees are concentrated in Lingfeng, and we are going to climb a hillside. In the drizzle, we walked happily up the mountain road. We don't know the way or how far it is. It's really a bit of a "visit" to follow your heart.

After walking for a while, I saw a plum tree with pink flowers on the side of the road and a plum tree with light green flowers in the distance ... From a distance, maybe it was a road sign specially left by a careful gardener.

We're here! We're here! Sure enough, when I climbed the hillside, I saw a dense red mist not far from the slope, and I didn't feel tight under my feet. Oh, there is a big plum garden in front, pink, red and white, competing with each other. Tourists linger in the sea of flowers, smiling and listening to "look here!" "How beautiful!" I don't know where to look with my eyes.

I can't get enough of the charming scenery, so I can only leave this beautiful moment with my camera. Tourists choose the scenery one by one, smile among the flowers, and a casual stop is a beautiful photo. Excited, they ignored the pieces of residual red under the plum tree and the flowers were colorful.

You think that when flowers bloom, they will flourish, and when they fall, they will be on cloud nine. Everything is natural and can't be called or stopped. So many tourists can feel the urgency of "exploration" and the pleasure of "appreciation", and will not waste the glory of a season.

Go boating on the lake

Rippling on the lake by boat is another scene. At present, it is rainy, and the fog rises on the vast lake. The nearby willows, the islands in the lake, and the mountains and rivers around the lake are all hazy. I can't help but read "If the West Lake is compared to the West Lake, light makeup and heavy makeup are always appropriate". Only here can I appreciate the ink charm of this light makeup.

The islands on the lake were built by dredging the bottom of the lake in different dynasties. Zhou Xiaoying Island has lakes, pavilions, bridges, and attractions such as San Tan Yin Yue. I think the people who built the island moved their fantasy of Yingzhou to the sea here. The small island in the middle of the lake is famous for the puzzle tablet inscribed by Emperor Qianlong, but it was somewhat disappointed after going to the island. The tablet is a new imitation, and it is not what it used to be. Few people stop to watch it. Presumably, the mystery of rambling romance is well known. The smallest island is Ruan Gong Island. Ships can only see from a distance and cannot stop. Ruan Gong's name is Ruan Yuan, a native of Yangzhou. There is an old house on Yuxian Street where I usually walk, which is Ruan's ancestral temple. Ruan Yuan is a representative of Yangzhou School. He worked as a political scholar in Shandong and Zhejiang, a bachelor of cabinet, assistant minister in Ministry of Rites, Ministry of War, Ministry of Housing and Industry, governor of Zhejiang, Henan and Jiangxi, governor of grain transportation, a young prince, and a university student in Tijen Hall ... It is said that when he was governor of Zhejiang, there were overseers who wiped out bandits who had disturbed people for many years, and he also set up a refined house to teach and train them personally.

I thought Bai Causeway and Su Causeway were named after the poems of Bai Juyi and Su Shi, but they were not. These two dams were built by Bai Juyi and Su Shi when they were officials in Hangzhou. Boating on the lake, looking at these scenic spots that record the achievements of great poets and literati, we seem to have a new understanding of the concepts of "learning Excellence for officials", "nourishing the spirit to level the world" and "keeping the words too strict". Unlike now, real scholars are disdainful of being an official, and officials are often disdainful of learning. In ancient times, only talented people had the opportunity to be officials, and great scholars not only handed down masterpieces, but also benefited one side. In this way, for the way of being an official and learning, we really have to learn from the ancients!
