Yingshan county has 20 towns, including Langchi Town, Chengnan Town, Lujing Town, Dongsheng Town, Lingjiu Town, Huang Du Town, Xiaoqiao Town, Laolin Town, Xiqiao Town and Huo Xing Town, and 33 townships, including Long Fu Township, Chapan Township, Sixi Township, Daihe Township, Yuezhong Township and Fuyuan Township.

Yingshan county is located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, between Jialing River and Qujiang River Basin. It is the east gate of Nanchong, the hometown of Xiaoping, the chief architect of reform and opening up in the south, the former residence of Marshal Zhu De, the founding father in the north, Dachuan in the east, Guang 'an in Chongqing in the south, Nanchong in Chengdu in the west and Qinchuan in Bazhong in the north. It has always been the economic and cultural center of northeast Sichuan.
