Municipal Bureau of Jilin Meteorological Bureau

Jilin Meteorological Bureau was established in 1958. There are offices (personnel supervision department), business technology department and policy and regulation department in the office. Subordinate units include meteorological stations, professional meteorological stations, lightning protection centers and weather modification centers. Responsible for the management of Jilin Suburb Meteorological Bureau, jiaohe city Meteorological Bureau, Yongji County Meteorological Bureau, shulan city Meteorological Bureau, panshi city Meteorological Bureau, huadian city Meteorological Bureau, panshi city Yantongshan Meteorological Station and Jilin Beidahu Ski Resort Meteorological Station.

Tonghua Meteorological Bureau was established in June, 1973. Its predecessor was the Meteorological Observatory established in June, 1950. The office consists of three departments, namely, business science and technology department, policy and regulation department (personnel supervision department, balloon airship management office). Subordinate units include meteorological station, meteorological film and television center, lightning protection center (lightning protection design and installation engineering office) and etiquette celebration service center. Responsible for the management of 6 county meteorological bureaus (stations) under the jurisdiction of Tonghua Meteorological Observatory, meihekou city, Liuhe County, huinan county, Ji 'an City and Tonghua County Meteorological Bureau.

Baishan city Meteorological Bureau was established in February 1980, and consists of three departments: Office, Policy and Regulation Department and Business Science and Technology Department. Subordinate units include meteorological station, meteorological film and television center, meteorological science and technology center and lightning protection center. Responsible for the management of Changbai, Fusong, Jingyu and Linjiang Meteorological Bureaus under their jurisdiction.
