What's the climate like in Xinjiang?

I personally live in Bazhou, Xinjiang, on the edge of Taklimakan Desert, on the southern slope of Tianshan Mountain. Every March and April, the dusty weather is particularly serious. It is very hot in July and August in summer, and it hardly rains in summer. It doesn't rain for two or three months in a row. Even if it does rain, it will stop next time, and it will clear up after a while, so it is particularly dry. Because this area is located in the difficult slope of Tianshan Mountain, it is not as cold as northern Xinjiang in winter. Northern Xinjiang is close to western Siberia, so it is very cold and often snows. In southern Xinjiang, there will be no heavy snow. The most precipitation in Xinjiang is in Yili area. You will get used to the weather here as long as you stay here for a long time. I have lived here for seven years and have completely adapted to the weather here.
