Boracay Island Travel Guide
(2013.2.28 in Boracay Island, Philippines) Author: My Wife
Our tour leader said that he has been to many resort islands, and the most recommended is Boracay Island. The scenery is unparalleled. , I have been here many times and still don’t think it’s enough. The important thing is that she is the most original one, which is unmatched by other places!
To reach Boracay Island, you must experience three forms of transportation: air, land and sea, namely airplanes, cars, and crab boats. So the journey is a bit tough, but I have to tell you first: it’s definitely worth it! Our group of 14 people (including a tour leader) set off from Haining at around 8pm on the 23rd and took a bus to Xiaoshan Airport. After checking in, each person pays the leading tour guide a fee of RMB 250. It took off at around 11pm and took 3 and a half hours to arrive at Kalibo International Airport in the Philippines. This is the smallest international airport I have ever seen. Standing inside, you can see it from beginning to end with just one glance. It is definitely not as big as Tongxiang Bus Station. Our Filipino-Chinese tour guide Sonny came to pick us up at the airport with his assistant Dingdong, and then we drove to the pier to take a boat to Long Beach. On the way, Sonny explained to us in detail the origin of Boracay Island, the customs and customs of the Philippines and Boracay Island, and things to note when visiting. The common currencies in the Philippines are peso (RMB to peso is 1 to 6) and US dollars. We exchanged currency directly with Sonny, which was more convenient. Sonny said that the Philippines has the habit of tipping, and you only need to pay 20 pesos (about 3 yuan and 3 cents) each time. The first tip we paid was to Dingdong, 20 pesos per person. Dingdong is a very honest Filipino young man. He took care of all our luggage during the trip. His conscientious attitude and considerate and considerate service impressed all of us. Tangtang said that the 20 pesos was worth it. It was already the morning of the 24th when we arrived at the hotel. We went directly to the front desk to check in. The tour guide issued us room cards and breakfast coupons. Let me explain here, you must use breakfast coupons for the buffet breakfast here. If you lose your room number, it will be useless. You can only pay for it yourself, which is about more than 60 yuan per person. It was past 7 o'clock after completing all the formalities. After having breakfast, we went back to the room to rest. Our hotel, Fairways Bluewater, covers an area of ??1 kilometer (the entire Boracay Island is about 10.32 square kilometers). It has an 18-hole golf course and the scenery is quite good. Due to the large area, we had to take the hotel's special car to and from the villa and the front desk. There are parasols and seats in front of each villa for guests to wait for the car, and there are also dedicated waiters to call cars for guests. After a morning of rest and adjustment, we gathered again at 11:30 noon and drove to D-Mall, the center of the island, for a welcome lunch. The name of the restaurant is 888. It is right next to the "Ferris Wheel", the iconic building on the island. The location is good and the taste is okay. We recommend chicken nugget soup, shrimp, beans, water spinach, etc. After finishing this meal, we officially entered Long Beach time and Long Beach life! Here are the essentials for life in Long Beach (you can choose according to your personal habits and hobbies): swimming equipment, flip flops, sunscreen (body and face), coconut oil for sunscreen (can be purchased at the tour guide, 40 per bottle) RMB), sunglasses, etc. (a few are omitted here). It is divided into No. 1 Beach, No. 2 Beach and No. 3 Beach. Coming out of 888, we entered Beach No. 2. A row of lush coconut trees divides the long beach into two areas. Smoking is absolutely prohibited from the beach to the coconut trees. If you are caught, you will be fined 1,000 pesos (160 yuan). It will be more serious if you throw cigarette butts in this area. Yes, you will be fined 5,000 pesos (550 yuan). On the other side of the coconut tree are various storefronts: restaurants, clothing stores, souvenirs, spas, etc. It is very lively and vividly expresses the passionate Long Beach style! Here are the names of the gods in our group: Brother Shu, Xinhui, Feifei, Kuang Kuang, Little Bee, Tangtang, Kaka, Lemon, Steven the Cat, Mrs. Cat, and Zhu Jiayun’s family of three. We walked along the seaside to Beach No. 3, playing and taking photos while walking. . . The biggest characteristics of our group are: narcissism and concave shape! No way, the man is handsome and the woman is beautiful, the quality is super good! So there are photos of various levels, including some restricted ones! The number one male is none other than Kaka in the floral shirt! These brothers have been wandering among thousands of flowers for several days, enjoying being hugged from left to right. It's really a wave of waves! Speaking of wandering, I have to mention one person - Steven the cat. Yesterday (the 27th) afternoon, Mr. Mao, who had been silent all this time, touched the thighs of all the beauties in the group at lightning speed. Judging from Mr. Mao’s ability to touch their legs, the brothers must have been wandering around the world for many years! The reason why he kept silent may be because the cat lady was always with him. After all, Cat Lady comes from a wealthy family in Tmall. With just one sentence of "Open your titanium alloy dog ??eyes and take a look", she kills everyone in an instant. It is estimated that Mr. Cat has been killed by Cat Lady a long time ago. He has washed his hands in the golden basin and turned back! The project we experienced in the afternoon of the 24th (the first day) was to take a crab boat out to sea to enjoy the sea view.
Highly recommend this project, get close contact with the sea, the beauty is beyond description in words, people are in the painting! Note: Wear a swimming suit and life jacket when going to sea. The waves will wet your whole body. If you sit directly on the net bag, you will be in danger of falling into the sea, so a life jacket is necessary! The entire project lasts about 40 minutes. We spent the rest of the time swimming and taking photos at the beach. In the evening we went to the local seafood market to buy seafood and had it processed at a restaurant called Lee'Cook. This restaurant is highly recommended, business is very good. The boss is from Fujian, and on the wall at the door is written: Fujian people live in Long Beach, so cool! I recommend their mango juice (the best we’ve tasted in the past few days), fried seafood noodles, and all kinds of seafood. They taste great! After dinner, we took a local tuk-tuk (65 pesos) back to D-Mall, and then took our hotel's special car back to the hotel to rest (D-Mall is the distribution center for hotel special cars to pick up and drop off guests). The project we experienced on the morning of the 25th was to go fishing by boat. The one who gained the most was Xinhui! The little incident happened when the bamboo pole of the boat we were sitting on suddenly fell. Jiayun’s mother accidentally fell into the sea. Fortunately, she was wearing a life jacket, but it scared me. I also threw away the homemade fishing rod in my hand, because she was sitting on it. Beside me, in a split second, I stabilized myself and it was too late to pull her away. Before everyone could react, Kaka immediately jumped down to save her. He was so fast and touched many people. Ding Dong also moved very quickly. At that time, he was still taking pictures on the top of the boat, but now he has already Helping the Kakala people, the two of them worked together to pull her up. A near miss! After a while, we saw a local man approaching us in a white boat less than two meters long and half a meter wide. He sat in the stern of the boat with an oar in his hand, and the rest of the boat was filled with coconuts with straws stuck in them. I was thinking that it would cost at least 100 pesos each. I saw the Filipino stretched out a finger towards us and said: One, thirty! Then he stretched out three fingers and said: three, one hundred! Haha, Filipinos are really simple, and in China it must be: one is 40, three is 100! After fishing, our boat sailed back to a place near the seaside to experience offshore diving projects. The tour guide distributed simple diving equipment, diving goggles and snorkels to everyone. You can go underwater to see corals, they are beautiful and worth trying. Here I want to talk about the use of diving goggles. Put on the diving goggles, wrap your nose directly inside, breathe only through your mouth, bite one end of the breathing tube in your mouth, and stick the other end out of the water to bring in the air. This makes it easy to eat bitter, salty, and astringent sea water! After we finished, we went to a beachside buffet lunch on Beach No. 3. I don’t recommend this place. There’s not much to say about it. It just filled our stomachs. I tried the banana boat experience in the afternoon, it was pretty good, recommended! Stimulation index: three stars! It’s best to sit in the front row, the most exciting! Then I went to experience the motorboat with Kaka, the male cat and the cat, and Brother Mouse took all the beauties to experience the parachute. The thrill index of a motorboat is 5 stars, going at full speed and making sharp turns is 6 stars, and falling into the sea becomes 7 stars. . . I will omit some of them here, but see Kaka’s work “I am a person who has truly swum the sea.” In addition, I have not experienced the parachute, so I don’t know the actual situation. All I know is that Tangtang vomited from the air into the sea and then onto the boat. . . Several other beauties were dizzy after coming back~~ Kaka and I, who were "reborn after the disaster", took Feifei and Kuang Kuang to enjoy authentic Spanish food in the evening. It was not bad. We recommend fried shrimps with garlic and seafood soup. Wait, the special dish, paella, tastes above average, and I have to wait 40 minutes. After dinner, we came out of the D-Mall street and turned left, arriving at a bar called "Epic". Let me recommend you. There are various types of bars, and they are all similar. This one is more high-end. It rained on the 26th, so we had free time in the morning and stayed in the hotel to chat. At noon, I went to a restaurant on the beach to eat Filipino food. I turned left after D-Mall and walked for about 10 minutes. I recommend this restaurant. The cuttlefish rice, paella, shrimp, roasted pig's feet, etc. are all good. While playing at the beach in the afternoon, I met a group of Filipino men practicing yoga and took some photos with them! Free evening. After breakfast on the 27th, everyone stayed in the hotel swimming pool overlooking the sea. The scenery was infinitely beautiful, leisurely and comfortable! At noon, we went to the restaurant called 888 to eat Filipino food. The program in the afternoon was good. The two of them drove a go-kart to the mountain to overlook the scenery of the entire island: Oh, it’s so beautiful~~~ I don’t want to leave! I want to open my eyes as hard as I can to take in all the infinite scenery in the farthest place, engrav it deeply in my mind, and never forget it! The car is very cool, but because the mountain roads are very dusty while driving, everyone needs to wear a face scarf, along with the face scarf. My dear classmate Di Kaka and Mr. Cat Steven are just like the leaders of two terrorist groups. We took a lot of photos. On the way back, we went to the Bird Forest, and the pranks continued. The highlight was taking a photo with a big lizard, which made me feel sick to my stomach. The brothers who are not afraid of death: Kaka, Steven, Xinhui, Kuangkuang, and Tangtang took action one after another. . . This beast has a pair of clairvoyant eyes and is grabbing Xinhui's breasts with all its strength! Speechless. . . In the evening we returned to the beach and had a buffet at a restaurant called seal reeze cafe. I don’t recommend it! After dinner, we bought souvenir vests, and Brother Rat and several beauties sent postcards! Afterwards, we drank juice and listened to music at the beach. The boy singing was a local, which didn’t look like him because he was very white.
After we communicated, he sang "The Moon Represents My Heart" for us, and Kaka tipped. When the young man was happy, he sang "Love Has to Be Unavoidable", and Kaka tipped again! The boy said to the audience very high: I hope everyone will learn from this gentleman from China! Then the beauty Feifei sang affectionately "The person I love most hurts me the most"! Some applause here! The best part was the fire-playing show later in the evening, and the bar was completely full. When the performance came to our table, classmate Kaka stuffed the tip directly into her underwear. . . Now everyone in the audience learned from him, and after one lap, the handsome guy’s little underwear was filled with tips. . . It was past 11 o'clock when we returned to the hotel, and Kaka fell asleep. I was still washing my face when I heard a cry. . . On the 28th (the last day), I had free time at the hotel in the morning. I have been sitting on the terrace next to the hotel swimming pool, blowing the sea breeze, writing this travel diary, thinking about it, and being moved. . . The whole group had Korean food at the hotel at 12 noon, the worst meal ever! 100 RMB per person, seriously ripped off! After traveling by land and sea, we arrived at Kalibo Airport at 4:30 pm. Wait at the restaurant opposite the airport and wait for the tour guide to go through the formalities! It took off at 6:55 pm and was expected to arrive at Xiaoshan Airport around 11 pm. Motherland, we are coming back soon! Finally, I would like to add that Boracay is a place where consumption is very cheap and the price/performance ratio is relatively high. But there are no luxury goods for sale, and not many can be bought back as souvenirs. The Filipinos here are very friendly and enthusiastic. Sonny said that they don’t care about politics and don’t have big goals in life. They live a casual and comfortable life. Perhaps it is because it has been ruled by Western countries for a long time, but there is a sense of order here! The service is good, and you can always feel the attentive and considerate service given to you by Filipinos who speak standard American spoken English. Finally, I particularly recommend the ice cream on the street in D-Mall. The 120 pesos is too much for me to walk. . .
The taste is top notch! QQ: 75625800 I hope it can help friends who want to go to Long Beach!
