The weather in Science City

I heard that a new greenway suitable for parents and children has been opened in Dawangjing. You can ride to Orson North Park from Wanghe Park North Park via Beihu Woodland, Huangcaowan Country Park and Yangshan Park, with a total length of10km. Yesterday, the weather was fine. Beixiaohe Binhe Greenway

The starting point of the south side of the bicycle lane is in the North Park of Wanghe Park, but it has not been repaired so far. You can't ride in the north park of Wanghe Park. The starting point of this stage is near the north gate of Wanghe Park North Park. I suggest you set the navigation address to the north gate of Wanghe Park, and then park in the parking lot of Beixiaohe Park nearby. Go back 100 meters and you will see the entrance to the bicycle lane.

Look, this is the entrance, which is very inconspicuous. If you are not careful, you will miss it. Remind again: the entrance is on Yin He West Road, which is on the same side as the north gate of Wanghe Park and the parking lot of Beixiaohe Park. As the roads in Wangjing are all inclined, I won't talk about the southeast and northwest. Below the entrance is a Little Square. Arrived in the morning 1 1. There are several bicycles parked here.

The first section of the road is not a bicycle lane in the strict sense, but a red brick pavement.

Due to the scarcity of tourists, every family with tents can enjoy a large area of woodland. It is much quieter here than in the park.

Ride out from the woodland of Beihu Lake, and you will arrive at Xindian Road. You must go straight west through an intersection, come near the entrance of Huangcaowan Country Park, and find the sign to continue riding.

Xindian Road, cross the intersection along the zebra crossing, and then you can find the cycling lane.

Personally, I think this section of Huangcaowan is the most beautiful section of Beixiaohe Riverside Greenway at present. Trees are shaded and orchids are in full bloom in February, which is pleasing to the eye.

Return to Xindian Road from Huangcaowan Country Park. Ride west to the traffic lights, north, turn to Beihu West Road, and then ride.

The section of Beihu District West Road+Xindian North Road is outside the park and close to residential areas, and there is basically no scenery at all. This section of West Road in Beihu District is still very sunny.

When there is no scenery to see, you have to look at the slogan at your feet!

Ride along the street and come to beiyuan road. Cross the traffic lights under the viaduct and come to the east gate of Yangshan Park. However, the bicycle lane in Yangshan Park has not been opened yet, and the bicycle lane outside the park is also under construction. Our car is here, and we have to go back the same way.

Summary:

1. It's about 5km from the starting point outside the north gate of Wanghe Park to the ending point Xindian North Road, and it's round trip10km. Children over 7 years old should have no physical problems. More professional cyclists definitely don't like that the route is too short and riding is not enjoyable. I spent three hours riding with my children. (There are more than 2 kilometers from the starting point to my home)

2. There are several places with few people and beautiful scenery along the way that are suitable for tents (Beihu Woodland and Huangcaowan Park). You can take your equipment and have a picnic and rest here.

3. The design idea of Beixiaohe Riverside Greenway is very good, connecting several large parks in the northeast of Chaoyang District, but the project is far from finished. Moreover, several parks will still cross the main roads where cars come and go, which is not safe. I once suggested that Mei Tao class should set the class collective activity as cycling, but after my own experience, I think this is not feasible. Because the road is not closed, several teachers can't guarantee the safety of forty students.
