When will the west extension of Beijing Metro Line 6 be opened?

At the end of this month, the west extension section of Beijing Metro Line 6 will be opened for operation, and Line 6 will therefore become the main artery of Beijing, starting from Shijingshan in the west and Tongzhou in the east. If you change to the S 1 line, you can take the subway all the way from Mentougou to the Beijing City Sub-center.

The five stations of the west extension project of Line 6 have unique "scenery" inside and outside, so beautiful that they can take wedding photos.

The west extension of Line 6 starts from the current terminal station at the west end of Line 6, Haidian Wuluju Station, and continues to extend westward 10.556km to reach Jin Qiao 'an Station. There are six stations along the way, including Tamura, Liaogongzhuang, Xihuang Village, Yangzhuang, Apple Orchard and Jin Qiao 'an. At the end of the year, except the Apple Orchard Station, the other five stations will be officially opened to traffic.

Yang Jingtao, deputy general manager of AA International Urban Architecture Design, who is in charge of the design of Xiyan Station of Line 6, said that the structure of Xiyan Station of Metro Line 6 is mainly hollowed out, so in the internal space design, the structural characteristics are fully utilized, the ceiling height is raised, the equipment and pipelines are integrated, and the decorative technique of "painting with powder instead of painting" is abandoned.

tiancun station

From east to west, the first station of the west extension line, Tiancun Station, has a new decorative concrete slab with red brick texture on the wall, light gray granite on the ground, protruding in the middle, and the ceiling is the same color as the cylinder, which is seamless, and the space is open and stretched to reduce the sense of oppression.

At Tamura Station, the middle of the passage connecting the two terminals is arched, and the ceiling and walls are integrated, white and blue, which makes the space more open and stretched.

Tamura platform, Liaogongzhuang station, Xihuangcun station and Yangzhuang station are standard two-column and three-span underground excavation stations.

The wall is an arched moon door, which is integrated with works of art and echoes the arch of the ceiling.

Liaogongzhuang station

Liaogongzhuang Station Hall Scene

The wall of Liaogongzhuang Station Hall is unique with arches and mosaics.

Liaogongzhuang Station also has a "network celebrity channel". After entering the station from Exit A, it will pass through a passage, which is in line with the "Xia Hai" effect of Liaogongzhuang Station. The walls on both sides of the passage are covered with starfish, and the passengers seem to wander in the sea.

There is a work in Xihuangcun Station Hall, which also matches the arch shape and is inlaid with mosaic.

The blue sky is like washing, the golden ginkgo leaves dance in the breeze, and the white horse in the distance enjoys the warm sunshine in autumn leisurely. Murals depict the most touching autumn colors in Beijing.

White columns are used for the renovation of the station. Different from the previous aluminum plates, the inorganic porcelain aluminum plates used this time are more environmentally friendly and wear-resistant.

Yang Jingtao introduced that the arched moon gate made of red brick was used as the wall of the station, which was a new decorative concrete slab with moderate cost and good effect.

The Apple Orchard Station was suspended due to construction difficulties and other reasons, and will be transferred to 1 line and 1 line after completion in the future.

With the theme of "under the apple tree", the station runs through the square in a staggered way, from the top to the wall, and through the design of light environment, it creates a leisurely and natural space feeling under the shade.

The Golden Station is transferred to the opened S 1 line and the future 1 1 line, and the south side is integrated with the newly-built commercial office area, and the west side is Shougang Industrial Creative Park.

The space decoration of the station adopts alternating treatment of reality and reality, and part of it exposes the ceiling. The combination of industrial feeling and modern aluminum plate reflects the collision between history and future.

Five stations have realized the integrated design of station and city.

It is worth mentioning that among the six stations in the west extension of Line 6, five stations have realized the integrated design of station and city. It is the line with the highest integration ratio of stations in Beijing. Through the efficient connection of slow travel, motor vehicles, public transportation, subway and other transportation systems, the urban life functions such as riding, transfer, parking, rest, residence, communication and entertainment are integrated.

However, the integrated design buildings around these stations are all new buildings, and most of them have not yet been built. Let's look at a batch of renderings first.

Jin Qiao' an station integration

At Xiyancun Station of Line 6, the designer also deliberately tried to realize the "integrated design" with the existing old buildings through transformation. According to the original plan, the entrance B of Tamura Station will be built next to Liangjing Square, and a large number of affiliated institutions such as entrances and exits, air shafts and cooling towers add up to more than 50 meters long. It is neither beautiful nor convenient.

The entrance and exit of the subway station is not far from Liangjing Square next to it. Can it be integrated?

From the end of 20 15, the "integration" scheme of these two buildings began to brew. After several rounds of negotiations, it was finally decided to change the ground square in front of the original shopping mall into a sinking square, and the entrance and exit were directly introduced into the sinking square. Part of the commercial development of the sunken square can also be carried out. In the future, subway passengers can go directly to the underground sinking square instead of climbing stairs out of the station and entering the shopping mall.

The integration of Tamura Station and existing buildings focuses on seamless connection in entrance and exit design.

The ground supporting design of the west extension entrance of Line 6 pays more attention to the seamless connection between rail transit and other urban public transport, and also sets up green parking lots, landscape squares and wind and rain corridors at the entrance and exit.

After coming out of Exit D of Tamura Station, it is no longer directly facing the square in front of the station, but a "wind and rain corridor". This corridor is more than 20 meters long and 6 meters wide, which connects the entrances and exits "seamlessly" and is next to greening. In rainy and snowy weather, passengers can shelter from the wind and rain here.

"Wind and Rain Corridor" outside Tamura Station

The entrance and exit of Liaogongzhuang Station is located in the bridge area. When you get out of Exit A, you have to detour down a two-meter-high platform. Yang Jingtao introduced that with the help of the "special terrain" here, the platform in front of the entrance and exit was changed into a ladder, and the surrounding area was transformed into a "city square". Not only is the landscape unique, but passengers want to transfer to buses and taxis, and they also walk a lot less.
