Shandong province is located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, in the mid-latitude zone. It has a warm temperate humid and semi-humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, concentrated rainfall and mild climate. The topography of the whole province is complex, with the central Shandong, southern Shandong and Shandong peninsulas being mountainous and hilly, and the western Shandong and northern Shandong being alluvial plains of the Yellow River. The main rivers in the province are Yellow River, Canal, Xiaoqing River, Dawen River, yi river, Harmony River, Weihe River, Ma Jiahe River and Tuhai River.
