Shaanxi Meteorological Bureau introduced

Shaanxi Meteorological Bureau was established in 1953. 9 functional offices, 12 directly affiliated institutions, 10 subordinate municipal meteorological bureau and Yangling meteorological bureau, and 98 county (district) meteorological bureaus. The total number of employees in Shaanxi meteorological department is 1940. Responsible for the compilation and release of meteorological forecasts and warnings in Shaanxi Province; Responsible for timely providing important weather forecast, meteorological information, forest fire risk forecast, thematic climate analysis and monthly weather profile to the leading organs of Shaanxi provincial government, Shaanxi flood control and drought relief departments and Shaanxi agricultural and forestry disaster relief departments.
