It snowed several times in Guigang, Guangxi.

Affected by strong cold air, the temperature in Guigang City dropped to 65,438 0.7℃ on the morning of June 24th, and the temperature in some towns dropped to 0 ~ 65,438 0℃, with local temperature below zero. In the morning, sleet and severe freezing occurred in most parts of the city, and there was light snow in the central city.

According to Liang Yijin, director of the Municipal Meteorological Observatory, in recent years, there has been rain and snow in the alpine region of our city. However, this snowfall in Guigang City is the first snowfall since the meteorological record in Guigang (namely 1955), reaching the level of light snow.

According to the historical data "Literature General Examination", there was a snowfall in Guigang:

"Four years after Daguan (1 1 10), it snowed heavily in your county." (In the 9th year of Tang Zhenguan, Guigang was called Guixian in history).
