The motorcycle doesn't start well in cold weather, and then it can't be refueled.

Motorcycle is not easy to start in cold weather, and the mixture ratio of carburetor is too thin, so it can't be started without pulling shock absorber.

However, it is not recommended that you adjust the mixing ratio of carburetor.

Because it will increase fuel consumption and the best working condition of carburetor is factory debugging, don't adjust it easily.

normally

There is no abnormal wear and tear of carburetor within 2-3 years (except inferior carburetor of inferior brand). At present, the low working temperature of air-cooled carburetor and gasoline will cause insufficient atomization of gasoline and low natural air mixing ratio. It's not the carburetor's fault, but the engine will return to normal after running for a period of time.

The carburetor is unstable at idle speed, so it is normal that it is difficult to start in cold weather. You can hit the shock absorber first, tap the throttle slightly to make the car run normally, and then go back to the shock absorber to heat for a few minutes before you go.

You can also increase the idle speed slightly, but the idle speed of the heat engine and the cold engine is different. But generally, the idle speed is adjusted only after the engine is fully warmed up, which is about 1500 rpm. If it is too low, it will easily lead to poor lubrication of the cylinder. If it is too high, it is easy to start too hard, and downhill braking will not work. If the idle speed is adjusted when the machine is cold, the idle speed may rise too high after the car is warm.

Remember, you must not ride a bike with the accelerator on. Once the car gets hot, the air supply will be insufficient. If the concentration of mixed gas rises seriously, the engine will not be able to refuel and the fuel consumption will be high, which will affect the later use of the engine.

If the idle speed of the heat engine is still unstable, and there is a fire or jamming phenomenon, the air mixing ratio of the carburetor can be appropriately increased, and the adjusting screw can be found according to the manual (about half a turn normally).
