It's hot. What symptoms do you have to see a doctor?

The weather is getting hotter and hotter. In this hot weather, there are many cases of heatstroke death. In the classification of heatstroke, heatstroke belongs to severe heatstroke with high mortality.

1. What is heatstroke?

In hot weather, physiological functions such as body temperature regulation, water and salt metabolism, digestion, nervous system, urinary system and circulatory system will change. When the change exceeds the tolerance range of human body, it will lead to acute heatstroke, that is, heatstroke.

Heatstroke is the most serious emergency related to high temperature, namely severe heatstroke. It is a serious and fatal disease, which is caused by exposure to high temperature and high humidity, resulting in maladjustment of body regulation, skin burn, disturbance of consciousness (such as delirium, convulsion and coma) and multiple organ dysfunction. Once it happens, the mortality rate is extremely high.

1. threatened heatstroke

At high temperature, there will be a lot of symptoms such as sweating, dizziness, tinnitus, chest tightness, nausea, weakness of limbs and inattention. Explain that the body has been dehydrated, need to drink more water, rest in the shade, and the symptoms can be alleviated.

2. Mild heatstroke

Body temperature > 38.5℃, rapid heartbeat, nausea and vomiting. After these symptoms appear, drinking water and rest can't relieve them. You usually need to see a doctor right away.

3. Severe heatstroke

There will be problems in the whole body function, such as coma, abnormal liver function, abnormal electrolyte and so on. Life is in danger at any time.

Second, how to deal with heatstroke?

If dizziness, headache, limb weakness, thirst, sweating, palpitation, chest tightness, inattention, uncoordinated movements and other symptoms appear, the normal or slightly elevated body temperature (generally not exceeding 38℃) is the threatened heatstroke.

Severe heatstroke can be divided into heat spasm, heat exhaustion and heatstroke according to different clinical manifestations.

Heat spasm is manifested as muscle spasm and severe pain all over the body.

Heat exhaustion is characterized by dizziness, headache, palpitation, sweating, thirst, nausea and vomiting, followed by cold skin, pale face, syncope, short-term drop in blood pressure and obvious increase in body temperature.

Most patients with heatstroke have an acute onset, and the early manifestations are fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Typical symptoms are high fever, the core body temperature is often above 40℃, the skin is dry, burning and anhidrosis, accompanied by different degrees of consciousness disorder, which may be complicated with multiple organ failure and disseminated intravascular coagulation.

Three, if any of the following circumstances should be timely medical treatment:

If you have symptoms such as increased heart rate, dizziness, irritability and unstable walking in a high temperature and high humidity environment, you must seek medical attention in time.

1. If the body temperature continues to rise, even over 40℃, seek medical attention in time.

2. Headache: When you have persistent headache in high temperature environment or after heavy physical labor, you should go to the hospital in time.

3. Muscle spasm: In a high-temperature environment or after heavy physical labor, the muscles of the whole body, especially the muscles of the limbs, twitch unconsciously, and you should seek medical attention in time.

4. Breathe shallow and fast: the breathing speed is accelerated, exceeding 20 times/minute, and the inspiratory and expiratory volume is small, so you should seek medical attention in time.

5. Nausea: I want to vomit, but I can't. I should see a doctor in time at this time.

4. Patients in the following situations should be sent to the hospital immediately or assisted to call 120:

1. Coma: loss of consciousness, slow or unresponsive to external stimuli;

2. Extremely weak: I feel that I have no strength and can hardly move;

3. Vague consciousness: unable to accurately perceive people or things around you, such as not knowing where you are or what others are saying;

4. Delirium: insanity, nonsense;

5. Epilepsy: The muscles of the whole body twitch involuntarily, and they are unconscious and unresponsive to external stimuli.

It is hot in summer, so measures should be taken to cool down and use air conditioners and electric fans. Pay attention to rest and fall asleep before 10: 30 at night; Replenish water regularly, and don't wait for thirst before drinking water. ?
