Social Practice of Science and Technology College of North China Electric Power University

Fly your dreams and live for hope.

There is a place, if you have not walked, you will not know the dangers of the road there;

There is a kind of life, if you haven't experienced it, you won't know the unforgettable hardships; There is a look, I don't know that kind of thirst for knowledge until I have seen it;

There is a desire, and if you don't understand it, you don't know the yearning for the mountains; There is a responsibility, we will shoulder, fly our dreams and live for hope!

From July 65438 to May 22, 2007, the College of Science and Technology of North China Electric Power University went to the social practice group of Yaomudong Township Central Primary School in Laiyuan for a week, and established the social practice base of the College of Science and Technology of North China Electric Power University.

They came to Laiyuan mountain area with full enthusiasm, not only brought a lot of learning tools and books to the children, but also brought a wonderful characteristic class for the children with their own knowledge: wonderful idiom stories, clever math application problems, lectures on aerospace knowledge, happy English, drawing Fuwa, pipa appreciation, introduction to Taekwondo and so on. And set up a multimedia classroom to let children know more about the outside world. The most important thing is to bring spiritual comfort and hope to the children in these mountainous areas.

The result of this activity is not unilateral. This teaching activity has enabled the children in mountainous areas to gain knowledge, at the same time, it has also enabled these teaching college students to have a better understanding of life, to experience the hardships of life in mountainous areas, to be moved by the children's eyes for knowledge, to be shocked when visiting farmers, to understand life and to enhance their sense of social responsibility. It can be said that their trip is not only to bring better education to children in mountainous areas, but also to improve the practical ability of contemporary college students, which is an education of social responsibility!

Opening ceremony of social practice base

On July 19, the unveiling ceremony of social practice base of Science and Technology College of North China Electric Power University was held in the central primary school of bituminous coal cave. The meeting was presided over by Wang Shuyuan, vice principal of Bituminous Cave Central Primary School.

Cui Zhenguo, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of the School of Science and Technology of North China Electric Power University, pointed out in his speech that contemporary college students should link their personal pursuit with social needs, practice Theory of Three Represents Theory in social practice, go deep into the grassroots, strive to improve their comprehensive quality and seek their own life value.

On behalf of the students at the scene, lead all the team members to take the oath, voluntarily become a volunteer, strictly abide by the volunteer regulations, be not afraid of difficulties, not be responsible for fame and fortune, be responsible for students, be responsible for hope, and contribute to teaching and educating people!

Teach the real feelings of log players

On Monday, July 6, 2007, it was sunny.

We are a group of people.

We come from different places, but we have the same enthusiasm, that is, to teach in poor mountainous areas, so that children in mountainous areas can feel the care of society.

The mountain road is rugged and the trees are lush. From a distance, you can see the beacon tower of the Ming Great Wall, which seems to be close at hand and far away. Unlike the Great Wall, it has almost no complete stone. To climb every beacon tower, you need to cross from this haystack to that haystack and then climb on the gravel. Some stones have been weathered for a long time, so that they become loose, so that they will move when stepped on, and may even roll down.

The more dangerous it is, the more we can show our unity. It can be said that a friend in need is a friend indeed. I am timid. I get scared at the sight of the stone under my feet. Standing very high, I feel my legs are soft, and my legs are like lead. Can't walk or dare to move. Fortunately, everyone was there, talking and walking along the way, eliminating the fear. I especially want to thank Comrade A Qiu for helping me all the way. Without him, I might never have come back. Thank you, Comrade A Qiu!

On the way back, we have to walk through a path that is only one foot wide and hangs halfway up the mountain. We held hands to remind the teammates behind us to pay attention to safety and where it was dangerous. This trip really made me realize that we are a group of people and our hearts are closely United. We are not only teammates, but also friends who share weal and woe and love each other.

I'm really glad that I know these people.

I am really glad that I can walk into this group of people.

I'm really happy. I'm in trouble with them

I'm really happy. I am a member of this family.

On Tuesday, July 17, 2007, it turned sunny to rainy.

When I walked into Laiyuan Bituminous Coal Cave, the tranquility of the mountain and the agility of the water came to me. When I got there, I deeply realized what is called "Zhong Ling Yu Xiu". This side of the soil and water has raised simple and honest mountain people, and the children are jumping notes and singing songs of hope, giving people hope.

From the children's faces, only happiness is seen, without any sadness. From the children's eyes, only a clear vision is seen, without any unknowns and confusion. I have been praying for these lovely lives in my heart, hoping that they will not be intimidated by the gradually clear reality, and they will not be content with the status quo like their ancestors and give up their pursuit in despair, thus ending their lives.

After teaching for a few days, I have a lot of feelings. Because I bring 12 and 12 children, I will encounter some obstacles in communication, but at the same time I also have an advantage, that is, children's words are endless. I believe what I have seen and heard will be more true. There is a student named Round Zhao Yuan in our class. It takes eight miles to walk from home to school and two hours to go to school every day. I met her on the first day of class and haven't seen her since. But from other children's mouths, I learned that Round Zhao Yuan is the first in the class and the monitor, and all the children in the class adore her. The children in the class have to walk the mountain road for an hour on average, but they come early every day. I just got up at six o'clock in the morning, and when I passed by our teacher, some children had already put their heads out of the window to call the teacher. Children in the mountains never stay in bed. They always come to school early these days and are reluctant to leave school after school. It took them half a day to persuade them to go home. They are curious about new things and eager to learn English and science. These children cherish learning this knowledge more.

Children in the mountains sing very well. A little girl sang "Children in the Mountains Love Mountains" and got everyone drunk. This song is as sweet as a smile.

Every night, I will see stars all over the sky, many bright and beautiful starry sky, which I have never seen in my dream, but I have seen here. I am thinking that such a landscape should never raise poor and backward people, and they should have a bright future. Children are hope, they should sing songs to make life better day by day, and let the outside world know that apricots are so sweet and lilies are so brilliant.

Rainy Wednesday

Because of the rain forecast, yesterday after school, I told them not to come tomorrow, and they all looked reluctant. The children insist that sometimes the weather forecast is inaccurate. We can't bear to disappoint them, but considering the safety of our children, we have to make up our minds that there will be no class tomorrow. Children must walk for half an hour every day. Heavy rains in mountainous areas should not be underestimated, and there may even be the danger of mudslides.

Unexpectedly, some students came in the rain. If we are the outside world to them, we can see how much they yearn for the outside world and knowledge.

I prepare my lessons carefully, and sincerely hope to do my best in the last class and give them the most complete knowledge, the most sincere smile and the simplest happiness. In an art class, we distributed the crayons we brought to the children, but I found that several children were just drawing the edges. I asked, "Why don't you draw?" A girl told me, "that's a waste of markers." At that moment, I was shocked. What such a small child had to bear in his heart was unexpected. When their eyes look at you, you always feel inexplicable pain. I believe their world will have many colors, but this world is really unfair. Although under the same blue sky, when the children in the city are munching on KFC and McDonald's, these sensible children in the mountains can only eat simple noodles and drink cold water for lunch, which makes me feel gratified and happy, but it also hurts.

July 2007 19 sunny Thursday

Teaching in Laiyuan bituminous coal cave is very substantial and beautiful. I can gain some insights and inspiration every day. Let me deeply understand the hardships of life in the mountainous area of bituminous coal cave and the children's thirst for knowledge.

When I first came to the bituminous coal cave, everything I saw was fresh. The winding mountain roads and undulating peaks give me a refreshing feeling.

The first person I met when I came to the central primary school of bituminous coal cave was the local headmaster Wang. In my contact with President Wang, I found that President Wang is a very ordinary, simple and unknown person. He doesn't like to appear in public, and even we tried to take photos with him many times, but President Wang politely refused. However, he pays great attention to doing some practical things. Although he is the principal, he personally repairs the broken desks and chairs in the school. When it was raining and the mountain road was impassable, he built roads in the rain. In fact, everything he did in his life was for the children who died in the mountains. He hopes that all the children here can walk out of the mountains and realize their ideals in the world outside the mountains.

Children in the mountains are simple, hardworking and simple. I met them for the first time in the morning after we came to the bituminous coal cave. I got up at half past six because of the fatigue of the first day's journey. When I walked out of the room, I found that many students had come to school and some students' clothes were wet. I took a little classmate with me and chatted with him for a while before I realized that most of the children in this primary school live in the mountains far away from the school. On average, each student has to walk for an hour to get to school. Because there is dew in the mountains in the morning, many mountain roads are not easy to walk. By the time the children get to school, their clothes have been wet with dew. When I saw these poor children, my heart was shocked. I secretly made up my mind at that time. I will try my best to talk about every class these days. I can't let these children who have walked for hours to listen to our lecture down.

My first class was about space science and technology. This is my first time on the podium. Facing 56 students from grade one to grade six, I deeply felt the children's thirst for knowledge and respect for teachers. I deeply realized the great joy and responsibility of being a teacher.

There is a student named Li. From my first day of class to the day I left, she would give me some small things before class every day, such as an apricot and a few pockmarked seeds. I didn't shirk these things when she gave them to me. I happily accepted the gift he gave me. I understand that these things are of little value in our eyes, but I know that every apricot and pockmarked seed is her heart, her affirmation to me and her love for the teacher. I really want to give her something in return, but I don't think I have anything decent to make him feel my expectation and love for her. Therefore, I will tell more colorful content in class to repay these lovely children.

Children in the mountains have a hard life. Because the school is far from home, they basically don't go home for dinner at noon, and lunch is just a bag of instant noodles. Whenever I watch these children eat instant noodles with relish at noon, I feel sad for a while. But I can't change the status quo, I can only bear it silently.

In the fifth grade, there was a child named, who took us back and forth 10 Lishan Road to buy food in the village. When I came back, I let him eat a watermelon, and he turned his head and ran away. I didn't go after him then. I silently watched him leave. I feel the sincerity of the children in the mountains and their self-esteem. They help others for free.

Teacher, I love you.

"Teacher, I like it! I love you, teacher! " Don't get me wrong, I didn't write a typo, but I came across it when I was looking through my child's art homework. This is the most precious gift I have received as a teaching teacher. This sentence has strengthened my confidence in teaching, and let me teach when I am glad that you are here this time.

His name is Yang Xing. He is a sophomore. His parents go out to work and live with his brother and grandmother. Because there is no constraint from his parents, he is bohemian and is usually the bully in his class. Other children dare not pay attention to what he said, and teachers and principals can't do anything about him.

I was worried when I heard about him. A child living in a poor mountainous area, a child whose psychological growth is in a critical period, what is he thinking at this time? What does he need? How does he get along with other children? A question mark keeps spinning in my mind.

On the first day of class, I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with him. In fact, I deeply understand in my heart how boring it is for a boy who likes to play at the age of 10 to sit down and listen to a teacher's long speech calmly, but he still sat down and listened to me. I'm glad he didn't reject me as he rejected the teacher at school. I told him: it is normal for a student to rebel. You shouldn't feel ashamed to be criticized often. Since other children listen to you, you should seize this opportunity, give full play to your role, protect your little classmates, and don't laugh at your little classmates. For example, you didn't perform well in a child's "pants-opening incident" in the morning. There is also the need to fully tap their own potential, instead of expecting to "be a monk for a day" and have their own ideals. For example, he wants to drive to the place he wants to go, instead of walking a long mountain road every day ... He listened carefully, kept nodding, and his big eyes flashed with confusion and longing.

Finally, it's time for me to give them an art class. As soon as I entered the classroom, he shouted, "Teacher, please give us an art class. We are all anxious to wait! " The other children shouted the same thing. Is it a welcoming ceremony or a duel for me? I'm a little overwhelmed. Since we're here, let's go! I smiled and went to the podium and said, "Really? I am also looking forward to it! Then let's learn to draw stick figures together today, shall we? " "Teacher, I have no paper!" He shouted, and so did the other children. "The teacher prepared a paper for you. You draw on the paper the teacher gave you! " Fortunately, I was prepared. "Teacher, I don't have a pen!" It's him again. Although I prepared colored pens, it was not easy for the children to ask me for pens. Where can I find so many pens? Seeing me in a hurry, he smiled proudly. I quickly asked my teammates next to me to lend me a pen. I can't miss class because I want to find a pen. "Students without pens don't have to worry. The teacher has borrowed it. Will you learn painting from the teacher first? " "good!" Several children shouted. Fortunately, when he saw that someone no longer agreed with him, he stopped talking and sat there unhappily. I started my own teaching. At first, he resisted, but gradually he became more and more happy ... a "crisis" passed.

Time flies. "Classmates, class is over soon. Please write your names on the picture and hand them in. " The children put their own paintings in my hand one by one, and each one was beautifully painted. This is my comfort! He suddenly ran over, put the painting in my hand and turned and ran away. I took a look. "Teacher, I love you! I love you, teacher! Yang Hang "crooked wrote a few words. It's him! It's him! Looking at that painting, my eyes are moist and tears are spinning in my eyes. I looked up for him, and he was standing in the corner smiling at me. That's a naughty smile!

Every child has a unique personality. Maybe they let others know themselves in different ways, but they are not bad children. They just don't have good guidance for the time being and don't know what to do. Just communicate with them with your heart, discover their advantages with your heart, recognize them, let them know that they are not worthless, and let them regain their self-esteem and be upright and ambitious.

I want to say to the children in the mountains, don't give up if others give up on you. You are not worse than others, and your kindness and simplicity are far from others. You should explore your bright future on your own. Come on, children, let's work together!

Experience of visiting

I just finished my Chinese class in Grade One and Grade Two this morning, and the team informed me that I wanted to invite a kind person to visit me. I packed my things in a hurry and set off at once.

The tour guide is a sixth-grade student, Zhang Guangling. A group of us climbed the Panshan Mountain, and soon we were sweating like a pig. I looked at Guangling and wanted to ask some questions. Before I could speak, Guangling said, "Teacher, are you dizzy? Don't go if you are dizzy, you will get heatstroke. "

I don't know what to do. I am moved, cherished and speechless.

Looking at the rugged mountain road and the poisonous sun that the tiger has long been familiar with, I said, "Tiger, are you suffering from heatstroke?"

"In the past. After going out and coming back that time, my head was dizzy and my eyes fell as soon as they were black. "

"What happened later?"

"Just take a rest in the future."

"Haven't you seen a doctor?"

"No."

"Have other students spent the summer vacation?"

"Almost, basically."

Later, I slowly discovered that people in the mountains are like this. If they are sick, they can carry it. If you can't carry it, go to a township health center more than ten miles away to see a doctor.

Who is sick and doesn't want to see it, who is sick and doesn't want to solve it? But children have to go to school, and going to school costs money. Although the state has lightened their burden, even so, this expense is still a big living expense for most families in mountainous areas. What else can we do except carry it like this? During the visit, a child's mother suffered from congenital deafness, but her family was poor. She didn't spend money to see deafness until her child was in primary school. ......

The poverty and helplessness of the people in mountainous areas are beyond our imagination. Sometimes even if they know that danger is illegal, they may do it, because they have a family that needs money to support, and because some children need money to go to school, they are desperate for it. .......

In the families visited, basically all families are supported by their fathers independently. And they all went out to work. The so-called going out to work is actually digging in a black mine. I don't know if they know which mines are illegal and which mines are allowed by the state. They just said, "explosives are tight this year, and now there is nothing at home."

A classmate's father broke his leg in the mine. The mine owner put a plaster on his leg and gave him some anti-inflammatory drugs, and there was no sign anymore. There is no money to continue treatment at home, so we can only use some indigenous methods to treat it. Now, I can't do heavy manual work, but I can only help people collect electricity, 200 yuan a month. However, this 200 yuan is not so easy to get. If the electricity bill is not collected in place, it will be deducted from this 200 yuan. Mountain people have seen this kind of thing a lot, but they still want to go to the black mine as always.

Knowing that there are tigers in the mountains, I prefer to go to the mountains. I don't know whether the courage generated by the dangers and risks that the mountain people have to face for their own responsibilities is awesome or sad.

Sanitary conditions in mountainous areas are extremely poor. Basically all miners, that is, the father of the child, have different degrees of lung disease, but basically they are not treated. On the contrary, they are more eager to get explosives and start mining as soon as possible.

"The poor man's clothes are just ordinary. He is worried about charcoal and hopes it is cold." Take health to squander, and use physical strength to make money. This is the man in the mountain, the father of the child.

Some people may feel stupid and ignorant, but how can those people understand their pain and helplessness? I also learned that the average land here is 0.5 mu. Moreover, the only plants planted are corn, and sometimes they can't even meet their own needs, let alone sell food. Few families have livestock, and most families only have a few chickens or something. When we asked them why they didn't raise some livestock to sell money, the answer was simple and clear, which made people feel chilling, heartbroken and heartbroken.

"People don't have enough to eat. How can they have something to eat? "

Let's take a look at the living conditions of the children we learned during the visit.

Some children never eat breakfast. They don't want to lose weight instead of having breakfast like some children in the city, but to save time in school. I teach a girl who never eats in the morning. Whether in summer or winter, she has to walk more than 40 minutes by mountain road to school. I can't imagine how she went to school in the gray light and cold wind. At noon, she took two yuan from home and went to the canteen to buy something to eat, such as crispy noodles. Every day.

Those children have reached the age of growing up, but they eat these foods all day, which are neither full nor nutritious, and they have to face the rugged mountain roads and work overtime. In the long run, how can we thrive?

Maybe you think these children are bitter and tired, but they are painful and happy. They still have to go to school and some children are in danger of dropping out of school.

One of the families visited is this. I saw a picture of the child, a very beautiful and lovely girl. Her academic performance has always been among the best, but her family is unable to support her studies.

However, I also heard her parents in the same situation, and vowed: "wherever he can go, I will go to train him, even if it is selling iron." This is really comforting.

During this visit, every time I go home, my heart will sink and my steps will be heavier. I know I can't give any substantial sexual help materially. I just hope that through our visit, the outside world can understand their difficulties, help them, make their lives better and let every child go to school.

Finally, I sincerely wish them a better life every day.

Today, the planting organization and the social practice group of China Youth University for Political Science arrived. This means that our practical activities are coming to an end, and our hearts are inevitably a little bleak. This feeling was completely released at the handover ceremony. I didn't want to cry at first, but I couldn't help crying when I looked at the children and the members of the social practice group of China Youth University for Politics. I have never experienced such a different scene. This is pure life, and it is the perception and maintenance of life.

These seven days of teaching activities have made me feel a lot and benefited a lot. First of all, I learned the unknown professionalism from the headmaster of the base school. He was born here, grew up here, and dedicated here ... The temptation of the outside world failed to shake his will, and the hard environment failed to defeat his strength. He finally stayed here and tried his best to change the environment here. Secondly, I learned from primary school students a thirst for knowledge: they are willing to climb dozens of Zhongshan Road to school in the morning, and they are willing to stay at home at noon and wait for classes in the afternoon. Their faces are always full of smiles and eager to talk to you. All these have taught me how to complete my college life as a college student: be proactive and work hard.

July 2, 20071sunny Saturday

This is the last day of staying here. The team members rushed to class and wanted to see more children. The last song I taught the children was "Plant the Sun". Although they may not understand it now, one boy even naively asked me, "Isn't it hot to plant so many suns?" But I believe that one day they will understand my mind, and I hope they can "make every corner of the world warm and bright" on their own.

The arrival of Zhongliang and Zhongqing Academy indicates that all our courses are over. We took our children to a classroom for a handover ceremony. No one revealed that we were leaving, but some senior children began to cry, and the junior children realized something and began to cry. The whole classroom was shrouded in a sad atmosphere, which prevented the handover from continuing. Looking at the children, our hearts hurt very much. Everyone tried to hold back their tears, as if to go forward to persuade the children, but they didn't dare, because tears would fall as soon as we spoke. In the introduction of China Youth College, when the children's attention turned to them, we left quietly.

When I walked out of the classroom, I couldn't hold back my sadness any longer. Tears welled up, and all the female players were in tears. Some people even sit on the steps and cry. Although the boys didn't cry, we could see that they were no less sad than us. Some people sit in the corner looking up at the sky, some go to chop wood, eager to use up all their strength, and some simply climb the mountain and don't come back until dark.

People's feelings are so fragile that you can't do anything; People's feelings are so strong that you can't perceive them.

Teaching team member: Shi Shuai.

On the evening of July 22, 2007, it turned cloudy and sunny on Sunday.

After a bumpy day, I finally returned to Baoding, my long-missed home and finally fell asleep.

Looking back on these seven days, I will never forget it. "We lived a life of" * * * productism "ahead of schedule," said Li Yijie, a member of the teaching team. "I never realized that productism can be so good!" This kind of life is really happy, pure happiness, really beautiful, absolutely beautiful. These seven days seem to be very long, every day is so colorful, every day something new happens, every day I am busy with my camera and tirelessly capture every wonderful moment. These seven days seem very short. I just met these lovely children. I only remember all their names. I just started to enjoy our teaching life. Just beginning to appreciate the childlike joy, we are going to part.

That morning, I unconsciously sang "When will there be a bright moon?" When I sang "people have joys and sorrows, the moon has ups and downs, and it is too late to finish it." I hope people will live long, and my heart will suddenly shake. Isn't this a portrayal of the mood at that time? It turns out that teaching them this word is destined to leave something else behind. I think now they should understand the meaning of these two sentences and understand Su Shi's mood at that time. Different times, the same feelings, different time and space, the same homesickness.

Now I am lying in a comfortable bed at home, but I can't sleep. My mind is full of children, and all the scenes of us together are presented to me. Children, I will always remember your smiling faces and cherish the apricots you gave to the teacher. I am worried about them in my heart and sincerely bless them in my heart! I hope that one day they can become useful talents, let go of their dreams and hopes!
