2.5g potassium nitrate 2.5g ammonium chloride 33ml distilled water 40ml ethanol 10g camphor 2 process.

3. Preventive measures

Heat distilled water, dissolve potassium nitrate and ammonium chloride, add ethanol, then add camphor, and put the solution into a test tube with a cork.

Experience tells him that the effect of natural camphor is better than artificial camphor, which may be related to impurities in artificial camphor. Firstly, the aqueous solution of potassium nitrate and ammonium chloride and the ethanol solution of camphor are prepared. After that, the two solutions are slowly mixed (it is best to pour the aqueous solution into the ethanol solution), which also helps the solute to dissolve fully. Mr. Ford never seals with a cork. Instead, he sealed the solution directly in a small test tube.
