Manufacture of air-blown bottles
2.5g potassium nitrate 2.5g ammonium chloride 33ml distilled water 40ml ethanol 10g camphor 2 process.
Step 1: Take 10g camphor (note that it must be natural camphor).
Step 2: 40 ml of anhydrous ethanol.
Step 3, take 2.5g of potassium nitrate and 2.5g of ammonium chloride. Distilled water 33 ml
Fourth, pour the ammonium chloride potassium nitrate solution into the designated container.
Step five, pour camphor ethanol solution and mix thoroughly.
3. Preventive measures
Heat distilled water, dissolve potassium nitrate and ammonium chloride, add ethanol, then add camphor, and put the solution into a test tube with a cork.
Mark Ford, who has been making wind-blown bottles for many years, sent me an email saying that even pure artificial camphor will be mixed with borneol impurities more or less in the production process. Experience tells him that the effect of natural camphor is better than artificial camphor, which may be related to impurities in artificial camphor. Firstly, the aqueous solution of potassium nitrate and ammonium chloride and the ethanol solution of camphor are prepared. After that, the two solutions are slowly mixed (it is best to pour the aqueous solution into the ethanol solution), which also helps the solute to dissolve fully. Mr. Ford never seals with a cork. Instead, he sealed the solution directly in a small test tube.
