How to avoid accidents in extreme weather environment?

(1) Driving in fog

Remember not to drive recklessly in the fog. Precautions for driving in foggy days: ① Always pay attention to the weather forecast and surrounding weather changes. When the line of sight drops, turn on fog lights, taillights, low beam lights, side sign lights, and front and rear small lights to reduce the speed and increase the distance between vehicles. (2) Try to avoid emergency braking, and don't blindly accelerate, quickly change lanes, and slam the direction. (3) If there is an accident ahead, the vehicle should be parked in a safe area according to the situation. Personnel on board should get off the bus immediately, wait in a safe area, turn on the double flashing, and put a danger warning sign at the back of the car 150 meters to prevent secondary accidents and call the police in time. (4) Always sound the horn to warn pedestrians and vehicles, and indicate the location of vehicles to avoid collision.

(2) Driving in rainy and snowy weather

Pay attention to the following matters in rainy and snowy weather: ① Increase the driving distance. Rainy days should be 0.5-2 times of 65438+ normal roads, and snowy days should be 2-3 times of normal roads. (2) To avoid emergency braking and prevent the vehicle from slipping, overturning and shaking in the opposite direction. ③ Reduce the speed, shorten the braking distance, avoid sudden acceleration, shift gears more and brake less. Try to control the speed with engine braking. (4) Install snow chains or replace snow tires in time, and slow down in advance when going uphill on snow and ice roads. ⑤ Make full use of the reference objects on both sides of the road to judge the road area and water ice thickness in time. ⑥ Bypass bridges, viaducts, culverts, sharp bends, ramps, river sections and soft sections that are easy to accumulate water and covered with ice and snow. Drive at a low speed in this lane if necessary, try to avoid overtaking, and honk your horn if necessary. When approaching the intersection, slow down, pay attention to the movements of pedestrians and vehicles, and pass cautiously after confirming safety.

(3) Driving in strong wind

Generally speaking, the causes and preventive measures of gale accidents are as follows: ① Crosswind mainly affects trucks, buses and empty tarpaulin trucks, because these vehicles generally have a high center of gravity and a large lateral area. (2) Light compact cars usually run too fast, and the road conditions are complicated, and the wind speed will increase with the increase of vehicle speed. ③ There is strong wind when vehicles enter and leave tunnels, mountainous areas, viaducts and Panshan Highway, which is characterized by short time but strong wind. (4) When encountering the above situation, the driver should pay close attention. When the vehicle is found to be running sideways, remember not to change direction suddenly, so as to quickly return to the right direction. Reduce the speed in time, hold the steering wheel with both hands and turn slowly to the right to prevent the vehicle from turning, slipping and bumping in the lane because of turning too fast. At the same time, pay attention to the places where trees and billboards are blown down by strong winds, as well as the rock obstacles on the mountain.

(4) Crossing the wading section

(1) Wading vehicles should observe the water depth, the direction and speed of water flow, and judge whether there are obstacles such as sand and quicksand. ② If the water depth exceeds the maximum wading depth of the vehicle, the blinds should be closed, the fan belt should be removed, and the electrical appliances and high-voltage lines should be wrapped with plastic sheets before wading. ③ When the road surface is hard, enter the water slowly to avoid entering the water rashly to wet the engine. Stabilize the steering wheel while driving, and don't shift gears or stop. If the road is narrow and muddy, you can pass at high speed; If the wheel slips or sinks, remember not to step on the accelerator. Drive out of the water by manpower or other vehicles without stopping. (4) Because the water pressure of carburetor truck is lower than the exhaust pressure of cylinder, the accumulated water will not flow back as long as it is not stopped. In contrast, when an EFI vehicle wades, water may be directly sucked into the cylinder.
