Meili Snow Mountain is located in the northeast of Deqin County 10 km, which is the boundary mountain between Yunnan and Tibet. It is said to be the patron saint of cangue Guba, a branch of Nyima Sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

Meili Snow Mountain is also known as the Prince of Snow Mountain, and the local Tibetans regard it as a "holy mountain".

It is located between Nujiang River and Lancang River in the middle section of Hengduan Mountain, about 65,438+00 kilometers northeast of Deqin County. It is connected to Adoni Mountain in Tibet in the north and Robbie Snow Mountain in the south. Qudenggong Temple and Imadin Temple at the foot of the mountain are temples where Tibetans worship the holy mountain. Meili Snow Mountain is the most spectacular snow-capped mountain group in Yunnan, with snow peaks stretching for hundreds of miles, accounting for 34.5% of the area of Deqin County. Take a bus from Zhongdian, the state capital, to Deqin County, and then a few kilometers to the east, and you will arrive at Feilai Temple. At this time, as the main snow bee in Meili Snow Mountain, Prince Edward's thirteen bees are displayed in the field of vision. If it happens to be sunny, the clear blue sky in Qingyuan sets off the noble and magnificent snow peaks, and the white edge of Kavalpo points to Cang Gong. The left and right arrangement of snow peaks seems to be restricted by it, and it seems to be an inseparable whole under its friction.

In the 1960s, Meili Snow Mountain attracted many scientific explorers and mountaineers. From 1902- 1996, British, American, Japanese and medium-sized climbers climbed the snow mountain successively, but failed to reach the top. 199 1 year 1 month, 17 Chinese and Japanese mountaineers were killed in the snow mountain. Now their bodies and relics have been claimed, but their souls are always in the depths of the snow-capped mountains.
