What does an aviation meteorologist do?

Engaged in the work mainly includes:

(1) Observe and record the actual weather situation at the airport or flight route with instruments and eyes, and provide the actual weather report to the flight crew and the airport meteorological station in time;

(2) Collecting and exchanging meteorological information, compiling weather forecasts for airports and air routes, explaining weather conditions to relevant personnel and providing flight documents;

(3) Monitor the weather conditions in this flight information region by radar detection and satellite cloud images, release weather information, and provide necessary weather information to relevant air traffic service units.
