General situation of Nanxi town

The town is located in the northern center of Yunyang County, 42 kilometers away from the new county. It is the town where the water level basically moves in the third phase of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (the relocation of newly selected Tianjing Village has started), with Shuang Tu Town in Yunyang County in the east, Laiwen Town and Shuikou Township in the west, Yunan Town and Maoba Township in the south, and Changhong Town, Qingshan Township and Fujia Township in the north. Geographical coordinates are located at the junction of east longitude108 50' and north latitude 3120'.

Nanxi Town is a super-large town formed by the merger of the original five towns of Nanxi, Changhong, Xinyang, Qingshan and Fujia, Nanmu and Dapeng in Dapeng Township when the township organizational system was adjusted in June 2006. It covers an area of 288 square kilometers and has 28 villages and 4 residential communities.
