Temperature refers to the physical quantity indicating the degree of heat and cold of an object, and microscopically refers to the intensity of thermal motion of an object molecule. According to an observable phenomenon (such as the expansion of mercury column), the degree of heat and cold is measured according to several arbitrary scales.
