Revival of Yongding River Canyon

Below the Luopoling sluice, most of the riverbed is dry and waterless. Water is led from the left bank tunnel to Xiaweidian Power Plant below 2400 meters for power generation. However, the Grand Canyon didn't take a shortcut, but still hovered leisurely in the mountains. Between Kuaiji Mountain and Jiulong Mountain, there is anticlinorium, Wangping Village. The ancient Yongding River once turned from Wang Ping Village, bypassed Beiling and came out of Shimenying, Yongding Town. Clever ancients used this gentle mountain area to open up the famous "Xishan Road", making it the "general road" to access Xishan and Qu Xia, that is, the land of transportation hub. There is a small village called Baidaozi in the mountains, which is located beside the ancient road. The weather is fine. Standing by the river, you can clearly see the white road between the rock layers of the village road.

Yongding River flows through Wang Ping Village, bypasses the south of Heiyagen and reaches Seshufen. It winds southeast, passes through Shiguyan (also known as Shiquanyan) and Yuan Fei, flows east and north, and passes through Dian Wei. Cross Fengtou Mountain to the east, Niujiaoling to the south and Dingjiatan. Southeast through South Longjiazhuang (formerly known as Lenggezhuang), north to Shuiyuzui. And east longitude zaolin village north, north looking at Yangling eighteen plates northwest flow. Further east, it passes through Chenjiazhuang South and Xieerling North. East, south of Junzhuang, south of Longquanwu Village. It turns slightly east to the south, passes through Liu Li Bureau (the current situation is a canal), and reaches three stores in Yamaguchi. It turns out that the Western Hills are still in the "Himalayan orogeny" and are still rising continuously or in stages. This uplift is not a whole uplift, but like a wave, from west to east, rippling around. As the waves rise, they rise in turn. In this way, the western hills keep rising, accelerating the downward cut of the river, making the deep valleys and wide valleys of the Grand Canyon still exist.

At the beginning, the Yongding River had already diverged in Dingjiatan area. Several streams of running water separate the riverbed and form a beach in the river, which is called a river continent or a heart beach. Now, the river has been cut by 66 meters, making the fork point move down to Chenjiazhuang. Standing on the edge of the towering highway, the riverbed is divided and compounded from the bottom, forming a half-moon heart beach-sandbar in the middle. From Chenjiazhuang down, the heart beach appears from time to time. The beach is now covered with trees and grass. Xie Hejian, located in the upper reaches of Chenjiazhuang, was once divided into Zhezhong Village. With the diversion of the riverbed, the inclined river flows back to the shore, restoring the tranquility of the ancient mountain village.
