Reflections on Early Knowing of Astronomy and Meteorology

I read a book called Astronomy and Meteorology, which made me understand the ever-changing scientific things in the universe.

Lightning not only brings harm to human beings, but also benefits human beings, because it can contribute nitrogen fertilizer to the soil. Thunder and lightning can disinfect and sterilize when it rains, discharge odor and purify the air. After a thunderstorm, we feel the air is fresh.

Animals can also report the weather forecast for us. Dragonflies flying low means it's going to rain, and it's going to rain when turtles become dark. Spiders spin webs, which means it's sunny.

After reading this book, I learned a lot about science and many things in the universe. I really want to be an astronaut and go to space. If I can really go to space, I will first go to Mars to see if there is fire there. I will also go to Mercury to observe. Then I will go to Jupiter to see if there is wood on it. Finally, I will go to Saturn. If there is soil there, I will bring some back to see if I can plant flowers. I'm going to see if there are UFOs in the universe.

There are so many wonders in nature. Do you want to know which is colder, the South Pole or the North Pole? I'm telling you now, the temperature in the South Pole is about 6℃ below zero, while the temperature in the North Pole is 4℃ below zero, so the South Pole is colder.

China is opposite the United States, so it's 12 noon here, but it's 12 noon there in the United States. That's the time difference.

Artificial rainfall means that some people put some small water droplets and some small ice crystals into the cloud from the plane, so that the cloud becomes heavier slowly, and then it will rain. This is the method of artificial rainfall.

where did the stars go during the day? Because the light of the sun is too strong, it shines brightly. The light of the sun is stronger than that of the stars, so you can't see the stars during the day.

I don't know anything about astronomy and geography without reading this book. I am very grateful to the teacher for recommending us to read these science novels, which made me understand so many scientific truths. I like this book very much.
